Moen, Brushed Nickel Y2686BN Banbury Towel Ring

This was purchased as an add-on to a set that we had previously purchased and installed. I'm a big fan of Moen's products. It appears to be well-made and of high quality. My only criticism is that the wall anchors they supply are light-duty and, in my experience, do not last. These were replaced with some heavy-duty-looking ones. self-awareness This isn't going anywhere unless you drill anchors!.

I appreciate the fact that these come with heavy-duty anchors of exceptional quality. I didn't have the right drill bit, but luckily, my next-door neighbor is a woodworker and lent me his while I finished installing everything in my bathrooms. For those of you who don't have such a neighbor, you'll need a 5/16" drill bit to put this together. Beautiful and of excellent quality!.

My initial review can be found below. I received a response from Nanny and contacted Moen about the product, explaining my issue in an email. Not only did they respond, but the towel ring will be replaced within the next 10 days! I'm blown away by the response and relieved that I won't have to buy another ring. I had to change my review to a five-star rating in order to let everyone know that this is an amazing company with a high-quality product that deserves your business. If only all of the "lemons" I've bought over the years had turned out so well! Thank you, Nanny! br>br>We were updating two bathrooms, so I ordered two of these towel rings. We worked on the main one in our spare time and didn't complete it all at once. Also, unlike other bathroom items, towel bars and rings were not essential. We had no issues with the first bath, and in fact, the Banbury brushed nickel was one of our favorites. It has a sophisticated appearance and was simple to set up. My husband discovered the small screw that held the second bath in place did not fit and appeared to be the incorrect screw for the item just as he was getting to the second bath. It'd be impossible to pull off. He attempted to remove it and replace it, but the towel ring is essentially useless to us. Of course, the deadline for returning it has passed. The product is of good quality, but this one was defective from the start; we should have opened it expecting a problem, but it was brand new, so what could go wrong? br>As I previously stated, we enjoy the items and, with the exception of receiving a "lemon" with one, they come highly recommended. My only purpose in writing this review is to caution potential buyers to inspect their purchases as soon as they arrive. If you wait too long, you may end up losing money. They aren't cheap either!.

Quality from Moen at a lower price than the big box stores in the area. The towel ring appeared to be slightly tweaked, not sitting perfectly in the base, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Are you unsure whether this is a factory second or not? It makes no difference because it's in a half bath in my rental house, not the Taj Mahal. It appears to be in good condition. it works.

I'm not sure why "softness" is a factor to consider when rating a metal towel ring. Lol. Item arrived in good condition.

It did not, however, arrive perfectly round. We tried to make it look right, so we installed it slightly tilted to hide the form flaw. I'm not sure if the out-of-round shape issue was unique to this item or if it's a common occurrence with towel rings. I didn't want to waste time looking for someone to take my place. No one has noticed the out of round problem because the towel is hung on the ring.
