As stated on the packaging, the towel rack is stainless steel, and it looks like it is made of That's my position, and I cannot dispute it. 13 3/4 inches long is the length of each bar. Good quality seems to be evident from their appearance. My experience with them has been good.
It is not specified in the instructions how much weight can be carried. In this unit, there are only two screws holding it to the wall. I recommend it. I have been surprised by how well this has gone so far. Our wall can't hold a traditional towel rack since the stud is in the middle of the wall and the other two are too far apart. While the poles that hold the towels are a bit short, any longer and I don't think that it would be nearly as sturdy. This is not one of the cheapest items. This is a product I would recommend!.
To hang tanks on this, I bought it to hang them in my closet. Moving and holding them well is one of its best features.
(Please repay me with some karma. They either burn out or the ties fall off and end up all over When I was searching for products, I came across this one and thought I'd try it. I am thrilled that he is going to hang his ties back up when he gets home instead of putting them on the ground because rolling them up and putting them away nicely or folding them or stuffing them the other tie racks etc are just too much work for him to handle. The process of looking for a tie and hanging up his ties only takes him a few seconds. And the best thing is I've hung them inside of one of the cabinet doors so you only see the closet when you shut the door.

It is an outstanding piece of furniture. The bottom of the rods it supports easily and with no bending or droop in the towel s after it has been loaded with high quality bath sheets. The box contained no installation guide, and one could not be found on Amazon either. The screws have rings that cover the head of the screws. The rings fit around the screw heads to create a rim. We tried everything, but they always caused the screw heads to turn sideways when tightened. There was no way to cover the top crooked screw head with the cap, but the revolving post was so close that it left a tight fit. Due to the close proximity of screw head to revolving post, it was impossible to get the screw cap onto the screw head when it was crooked.
