The crack would be filled if this was used. Please note that there will be a color difference after you sand and stain the board. The best way to hide a repair would be to paint over it.
That doesn't seem to be the case to me
Starting off pink & rosy, this filler then goes a rosy pink As I used it on wood trim that will be painted, it takes a few minutes to dry. Although I am not an expert, I believe there is another floor covering product that is more suitable. I hope this helps. The filler will fall out over time.
Certainly, but I would be surprised if you could get a perfectly smooth finish after all the filling and sanding is done. A crazy squirrel drilled a large, deep hole through a piece of exterior trim around a garage door and we filled it in with this.

This does not work very well in deep cracks, but I'm sure it does the trick when it comes to small cracks. For a table, that's what I used it for. There was still a painfully obvious defect after staining and after sanding. Getting the glue into the cracks without it being everywhere is one of the challenges I face. Actually, I think a clear glue might be better for what I need to do.
This old bar had cracks on the top all the way across. It was easy to feather a bit of filler in the crack to reinforce the top as it was dropping down a bit on one side. I let the filler Pushing on it the following day mostly caused it to crack. After that I tried to sand it off, but that was difficult, and probably 70 percent of it My next step was to purchase wood epoxy, which worked a lot better. As I sanded epoxy and wood filler with the orbital sander, it became smoother. As soon as the filler was done, it dried much lighter, and stained it would not lighten at all. Therefore, each side of the crack has a large strip of lighter filler. Poly was used to seal the stained wood. This is much better than what it used to be, but I wish I had used only.
Dryes to a powder when exposed to air. As soon as the sandpaper dried, it was way too easy to sand. I noticed if I pressed it with my finger, it crumbled into a fine A stain sticks out like a sore thumb if it doesn't have a very dark stain.
The wood used for this project had significant defects, and while I did not like the appearance with a light stain because the filler was lighter than the surrounding wood, I think this medium/dark brown is great. Curing the filler for a longer time will allow it to accept more stain.
The product works well with paint and lighter stains on wood. If you use it with a dark stain, the mixture will not.
Elmer's could possibly be as good as they are? What kind of stuff does a kid do? This is incorrect. Unlike any other wood filler I have ever used, this one is by far the best I have come across. (bring a cup of water and a small putty knife). It's smooth (not grainy) and easy to work with. It is also possible to keep repeating After you have finished hydrating it, you can shape it however you would like (i. e. as long as it hasn't completely hardened). As soon as it is totally hard, it can't be reversed).
Filling wood is a great idea with this product. The functionality is as expected. If you get a putty knife and a light sander block to smooth out the damage when it dries, you should be To fill holes in doors, I used to do that. We have cheap doors, so if you need paint matched, just cut a box off the door with a box cutter if possible (we have cheap doors, k? (a) Cut out about a quarter of a chunk of wood and take it to the paint shop to get it If any holes exist, fill them with putty. The world will be purple, which is a lot of fun. A light tan color is the result of drying it. Sand the surface after 24 hours and then paint it. The new one is here.
I hate this stuff. Around ten of my repairs are successful The very small gouge came out okay, but there were 15 small to medium goes. In most cases, however, during the drying process, large cracks could be seen through the middle of the repairs. Even if it were just one crack, I wouldn't be upset, but out of all the repairs I attempted, MANY of them cracked even before I could sand them. As I followed the directions exactly, there is no foul play, just a flawed.
