My hands were trying to unscrew it, but it snatches up when I pull. used a church key (the beer opener thing) to pry it open and it was easy, once I understood what it was doing.
My work has been completed with both Famowood and Durhams Rock Hard water putty to fill holes in plywood subflooring, cracks in the surface, and blemishes in the surface. They both came out very well and shrunk hardly at all. The repairs on the larger pieces of furniture required some sanding and a second coat. As far as I've seen, both types of VTC Vinyl Flooring are equally good on particle board. There are no blemishes showing through the finished product so far. If it's a question of pricing, I would check local price and compare it with Amazon's price. Most likely, shipping charges will determine your final choice. I will be grateful if you can keep me in mind. The Clarke family
No, it's very easy to sand. I have used a lot of wood in my projects Over the years, there have been numerous fillers, but Famowood continues to be the best by far.
In short, yes. Adding sand between the coats would work, but it needs to be filled in.

Although I do not have much experience with wood fillers, I have found this to be much better than other products. There are a few differences in texture between it and A thick but light fabric. The product dries extremely quickly and can be sanded easily. If you're using it to fill in large holes or rebuild missing chunks of wood, apply thin layers while letting it dry in between each application. The problem arises if you apply the lotion too thickly, as it will never dry properly.
In case you are not familiar with Plastic Wood, it consists of sawdust with a binder made from a solvent based resin. The plastic wood tends to crumble, is difficult to work with, and does not adhere well to surfaces. The difference between Plastic Wood and FamoWood is that FamoWood is all natural. We have found working with them to be extremely easy. It leaves the surface with an extremely hard finish that will fill even vertical cracks, dries very quickly, and adheres to virtually anything that you put it on. In repair work on some gouges, I painted over them with this- It took me a little while to realize that FamoWood adhered just fine, even to painted surfaces, so I thought I would have to sand down the gouges to reveal the bare wood. In addition, water and soap are used to clean the dishes. There is nothing fake about this stuff!.
It goes on smoothly and sands well. I know how tough it is I found my window sill shredded by my dog My experience on this project was fairly substantial, so I used a finishing nail gun to carefully put the big piece back on and used this wood putty to cover the rest of the damage. The damage was significant, so a few rounds of putty and sanding were necessary (did I mention the damage was significant?). After two coats of primer and paint, I finally completed it. Even after it was once destroyed, you can hardly tell it was ever damaged! An A+ note It came in a darker color, so I used it as wood filler Having recommended it to me, a neighbor gave me this book. Once I had seen how well it worked, I ordered mine in the lighter color.
Because I would always find the wood fillers drying out in the container, I gave up using them In other words, it becomes useless. It was easier to use wood epoxy, so I decided to use this wood filler instead. My balcony railing is stronger now that I have filled those weak spots It took me a few hours but the surface was quite hard enough to sand. I sanded light and was surprised at how easy it was to sand. If I were to buy it again, I would purchase it I don't have to work fast or put up with the strong odors associated with wood epoxy, and it's pretty effective. Although it would not be my first choice, if I were in a hurry I would think twice about using it. The notice is drying up. A longer period of time exists. After scraping it off and using wood epoxy in that situation, I ended up scraping it off again.
I was recommended this by a friend who works with wood. This product works similarly to spackle, goes on like spackle and sands like spackle, but does not shrink and does not crack. So make sure a lid is on for getting some out, except when it's time to dry. After completing the process, ensure that the lid is firmly in place. During the conversion from 1970s exposed hinges to concealed hinges, screw holes on kitchen cabinets were filled. Filling holes was great, and after painting I can no longer see the holes.
It is very effective and works well. During the storm, the plywood near my bay window rotted. Taking this filler and covering the area by removing old plywood was easy. In about 1/2 hour, it solidifies, and I do mean After painting over the area, it is impossible to tell that the wood is filled in and the wood is natural. The entire cup was only used for a quarter. Make sure to read all instructions carefully before beginning. Wearing gloves helped me to perform the task.
You won't have to worry about it drying It's awesome! I have been using it for years. The software is very helpful for me when I am building reproduction fine furniture as well as restoring antiques. The idea of storing it upside down is often suggested as a way to extend its life. My experience has been that it was If you put the lid on the container with a sheet of plastic on top, it will make the container virtually air tight (or at least damn near it). The plastic underneath the lid does not allow the contents to dry out.
We received a recommendation for this product from I find it fascinating. As wood does, it hardens. This dries quickly, but since some of the cracks and holes were so deep and large, I applied several layers and waited for each to fully cure before applying the next. As opposed to some fillers, this one has not separated from the word or cracked. The new wood has adhered well to the old one. The application process is very straightforward. The reason I am a finger guy is that I love to feel and shape certain areas of something to make it conform to its original form. Plastic or plaster won't harden like this, it will harden like wood. A lot of people are using it for sanding. Definitely recommend it and I am thrilled with There was a complaint about how difficult it was to open the lid in one of the comments. To open the bottle, I used a round bottle opener. It was easy to lift as I shoved it up the sides and used it as a lever as I went around the lid. That's why it's not that difficult. Due to the fact that I am still working on it, I have firmly sealed the lid back on, but not until it snaps, and placed the container inside a sealed plastic bag--that way, I can open it as I work, and it will not dry.
