I cannot make use of it. In mine, the water dried up. When I opened the wood filler (from Amazon previously) I noticed that it was faded and dull and that it needed to be more vibrant. As well as being crumbly, it was a little dry. Here it is with the color it's supposed to be after I added a drop of water. The money was wasted.
Our son's bed was damaged during the move, so I bought this to replace it. This wood is hard to work with and crumbled when I tried sanding it. It is also not usable for staining or painting. When I used these furniture markers, it was just like using regular markers on a dry erase board. There weren't any color catching results, they smeared, and they just looked awful when I was done. As opposed to the current condition, I prefer having a crack or a missing piece.
In my apartment, I had to touch up and fill pillars and doors after my dog chewed them after he gave me a surprise of chewing a few around. I purchased this and another color filler from the same brand, and they do the trick. So I didn't have to buy paint to color over it, as the color blended in quite well. I do not know how to work with it since I am not a professional. It dries quite quickly but is not the easiest to handle (since It is recommended to get the Grime Boss Heavy Duty Wipes since they are great for cleaning the area and your hands after using the product. Excellent value for money, and it is possible to work with it even if you are not accustomed to this type of work.
As the color changes to tan, you can always be sure the material is cured long enough to sand. It will wash off easily with your finger or putty knife. It is easy to use and quick to The small container keeps it from drying out before you're able to use it up. This is great if you don't use a lot of soap every day!.
It's a great product. I've found it to be the best wood filler I've ever Using this product you can fill deeper gouges or keep it very thin. It is very easy to smooth, so minimal sanding is required. This is the kind of product I would recommend.
When I tried to use the product, it had already dried out. Additionally, the lid is a pop on/pop off style with no tamper seal. It appears that white glue is the only thing I will allow them to handle.
The product was very thick, very grainy, and not very sticky. Since its texture was so coarse, it was difficult to fill in cracks and counter-wet. A screw that is recessed. My small container was perfect since it tended to dry up very quickly while working on my project. I ended up having to keep stirring it as I worked. It cracked in a number of places when it was applied to the furniture I was repairing. I will not be using this.
My recommendation would be to choose another brand if you plan to stain the product after use. The color of this wood doesn't match wood well and it is extremely hard to match. It is fine if you paint it, but the product says that it is stain-resistant, but it is.
