Questions & Answers

It would be helpful if you could provide me with an estimate. There are two 6 oz containers in each set The sum of these gaps would equal about the volume of a softball. Could they fill these gaps?

My estimate is that about a third of a softball would be around 20 inches There are 22 cubic feet. There are.

It is just on the ends of the bottom horizontal part of my window sash that has rotted. This seems like it should work, but how can I make sure it stays on and does not drip?

It is my hope that you have received the previous response. Let me sum up. Dispose of any wood that has rotted. If you want to be extra safe, install a few small flat-head steel wood screws so the heads are well below the surface and undermine some of the holes with a 1/8-inch drill bit.
* To support the bottom, put a thin sheet of plywood or a roofing shingle on top of saran wrap and clamp or screw it together. In that case, you should be able to This is plan 24 For it to be usable, it must be given 48 hours. You can adjust your temperature based on your current surroundings. About 70 degrees were present in my house when I used it. Try it after 24 hours to see if it works I was surprised how well it adhered to oak after 30 hours. It is stiff when it is on and it is very hard to remove. I had only roughened the surface of the wood and drilled a few holes on the last church pew I repaired. My first step was to use wood chisels to shape it. They needed to be sharp and I used a sanding block. Use course paper first, then work down as you get As I was putting in wood grain and matching 3 different colors in the oak, I had no problem at all. Despite being told the problem could not be fixed, I was very impressed with the product. The church was told that the product would not fix the problem.

Staining - how does that work?

There is no doubt that stains stick

Can you tell me if the date on the bottom is ?

It is a unique epoxy that does its A 4x4 cedar post I had rotted was revived using this
5/5

As my repair was planned for 3 days of temperatures above 70 degrees, there was to be no precipitation. Depending on how much material was rotted, the post ends varied in appearance. After chiseling out the ends of the boards to expose substantial lumber, I cleaned up the debris, vacuumed and installed stainless deck screws into the substantial lumber (leaving the screwheads in the rotted voids). As you may have noticed, I followed the directions for applying wood epoxy, and then screwed the composite railing into this epoxy. This has eliminated the void in the post and restored its integrity. Besides the flower pots dangling from the railing, there are screws that run into this epoxy, which adds to the stress on the railing. After almost a year of use, it still appears to be in good condition. There is no sense of degradation from the way it appears, or feels. We chose to repair the cedar posts with this method because it was much less expensive (materials and labor) than changing the cedar posts. My goal is to provide value to someone with this review. Have a great day! The update for 8/2021 is below. We've been happy with the performance of this epoxy.

If current wood profiles must be matched, wood filler is the best choice
5/5

I highly recommend this product if you need to match the profile of someone who doesn't speak English A rotted piece of As soon as I saw the picture, I knew I had to use it to repair rotted wood on a door that I thought would be impossible to fix There is a broad range of application times, unlike some epoxies, and it is easy to sand, especially with a Drexel Multi-Blaster You max out. With the right tools, you can shape it. My doors were already painted so I used paint sticks and popsicle sticks to match the If you want a solid tan color, you will need to blend the two parts well. The mixture needs to be thoroughly mixed or you won't get a good cure, and your I discovered that as soon as I used the product.

It is expensive in comparison to other wood fillers, but its ability to work makes it worth the cost. In general, bono wood filler is useful when filling large areas, but it works better on flat surfaces since it set up too fast and is too mushy during the setting process. The quick wood is easy to use and works well for filling holes, but it is a little firmer so it is difficult to match a profile. The epoxy wood filler I used on my exterior wood has not given me lasting results. In addition, the stuff makes a big difference. It has taken me multiple times to make the same small repair container. Furthermore, you should also ensure that the rotted wood you are using gets hardened up (e. g. , by using a wood hardener). It is helpful to use LiquidWood (LiquidWood) to ensure the epoxy sticks well to the surface. To provide a stronger repair, I like to drive stainless steel screws in the hardened rot into the fresh wood underneath, leaving the screw head and part of the screw out so the epoxy has a place to adhere.

This is the best stuff I've ever heard
5/5

This is the best stuff I've ever heard. It's easy to work with her If you want to mix epoxy, you can use disposable gloves. Make sure there is no white visible after thoroughly mixing Put your hand over it and knead it. It is a pale beige when all the pieces are put Soak it for 5 minutes, then stuff it into whatever is needed to be filled. Multiply layers of it or do it in one go. I did that and it worked fine, though it took a while to heal. Once you have smoothed the last bit, you can The two solid windows I have are in the living room and bedroom. The following review is written by a 68-year-old woman. My ability to do it gives you the same possibility.

Upon drying, this product forms a very stable substance that has been hard to disrupt
4/5

I consider this a good product that dries into a very hard, durable substance that can be easily cut with a knife Paint-able and able to draw It is possible. I tried it again today, but it does not work like I have gotten used to from traditional putties. As a result of its stiff, yet pliable consistency, it can occasionally be difficult to work with. Once I pressed it into the hole, leveling it off with a putty knife proved difficult, so once I flattened it off to the top edge of the hole proved difficult. As a result, I ended up putting too much woodepox in the hole because I didn't realize how difficult it was to level it with a putty knife. I think most people would resolve this issue by aggressively sanding it down to the hole's edge, and the level of the item being filled, but I was working in a very tight fitting area, so I had no choice but to be passive. I would not recommend using this product in a very tight area, unless you were not concerned about how it will look, and only wanted something that was functional and did the job of protecting a small area. Also, I do not recommend using this product in an area like this that is hard to access with an electric sander, since if you set it too high, then you are stuck with it. The bright side of this product is that it is easy to mix, and can be done by hand. In the mixed state, I placed equal amounts of parts A and B onto a board, picked them up by hand, and mixed them by hand The measurement need not be precise, and the eyeball measurement is sufficient The equal proportions it's ok to estimate, and I've never had a problem getting the correct amounts. As soon as it is mixed, and kneaded by hand, it is ready for use when it has a uniform color throughout, with no streaks caused by one component not being fully incorporated into the whole. In other words, when it is consistent in color and feels like a stiff clay, yet is pliable, it is ready to push into the opening. A few hours after drying, this material is transformed into a remarkably hard material that looks as if it'll endure At least in my case, I will have to practice more to learn how to use it.

Wood putty is superior to this! In an effort to build a deck by myself, I used pressure treated wood
5/5

After installing the wood, it shrunk, leaving gaps at the The wood putty I tried (indoor/outdoor) was good but the drying time was outrageous. While the color was good, the putty shrank with drying and failed to fill in the gap completely. I then used WoodEpox, which stood up perfectly to the gap. Because of the deck's stain, it dried very hard. However, it dries bright white, so it required extra touch-ups. The color of this item is what I would prefer tan to brown. There is still one more thing to mention If you are going to use rubbing alcohol, be sure to have alcohol pads on hand. The epoxy will be cleaned up from the wood, and the repair surface will be smoothed. You won't need to sand it after application, and it will be done immediately. It is easy to use (just wear rubber gloves!) The product we tested is extremely durable, easy to clean, and has a 5 star rating.
