Questions & Answers

Is it possible to read digital RF from cellphone towers, wifi, wireless LAN, and other sources with this device?

The RF section of the TF2 is ideal for detecting EMF emissions from cellphone towers, Wi-Fi access points, and other wireless devices. Mobile phones and Wi-Fi. br>br>When reading RF emitted by digital devices like cellphones, Wi-Fi is used. The Peakbr>Measurement (small numerals in the upper-left corner) applies to Wi-Fi routers and smart meters. The Field Measurement (large numerals at the bottom left of the display) is of greater interest. The data from digital RF devices is transmitted in short packets that occur infrequently (perhaps once per minute with smart meters and several times per second with Wi-Fi). Wi-Fi transmitters or active mobile phones). The Peak Measurement detects these packets and displays the strongest one for a few seconds before resetting.

Is this capable of picking up emf/rf at a distance, or must it be held close to the source?

As long as the field is strong enough, this meter will detect EMF/RF at any distance.

Is this capable of receiving UHF and microwave signals?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. All three types of electromagnetic pollution will be detected by this meter. AC magnetic, AC electric, and RF/microwave are the three types of AC.

Is this something that could be implemented in India or Europe?

Yes, this meter will function anywhere on the planet. This single model can measure both 50 and 60 Hz power levels.

One of the best investments a person can make is in themselves
5/5

Since returning from Canada in the middle of the year, I've been sick a lot. January. Flu- I went to the doctor, which I rarely do because of this pandemic nonsense, and they didn't test me because I didn't have enough symptoms, but they did put me on two different antibiotic schedules, neither of which helped me at all, and they wanted to give me a third, which I refused. I was watching a program about 5g and how it's exploding, and I'd been following it for a while but figured that because I live in a rural area in Idaho, I wouldn't have to worry about it for a while. Then the program started talking about the various symptoms, and I had a slew of them. I checked with my cellphone service provider (starting with T) and discovered that 5g was indeed available in this area. I got the meter a few weeks ago, and it's been an eye-opening experience. I discovered that 1) the router at my desk emits dangerously high levels of emf radiation, 2) my phone emits nearly the same amount of radiation, and that when my phone is plugged in to charge, the level of radiation DOUBLES. EVEN IN AIRPLANE MODE OR WITH THE DATA TURNED OFF! Doesn't make any sense, does it? But, in reality, how much do we know about 5g? When wifi devices are plugged in to charge, it appears that direct electricity magnifies the emf. I've tested this on several different devices and the readings are consistent. BUY THIS. The Trifield 2 is simple to operate and has proven to be a reliable companion. Learning what I have, I have hardwired my PC and fireTV stick (you can get an additional fireTV add-on to allow an ethernet connection) to eliminate all wifi in my house. I'm still waiting for my new internet router, which doesn't have wifi capabilities but should arrive tomorrow; in the meantime, I'm keeping my router in our mudroom, which is the house's least-used room. In just a few weeks, my health has drastically improved. I'm amazed at how sharp my mind is and how clearly I can think today. I had no idea how bad my brain fog was until it became unbearable. I strongly advise you to purchase this device for your own health's sake.

AlphaLab's work is a masterpiece
5/5

I've always been interested in perceiving or detecting these everyday but invisible fields as an EE who worked in a building where faulty electrical wiring resulted in wildly wobbly CRT displays due to faulty electrical wiring. For a long time, the Trifield 100XE has been on my wishlist, but I've never gotten around to ordering it. I recently became aware of the new model TF2, and the superior specifications and readability of the display compelled me to place an order. br>br>The battery was already installed when the meter arrived. The new case design is sophisticated, cutting-edge, and of exceptional quality. The analog display (the bars) uses a logarithmic scale to convey maximum information at a glance, and the display is remarkably clear and informative when the backlight is turned on. The digital version of the book out updates several times per second, which is fast enough to keep track of a changing value while still allowing it to be read. Digital read-outs with the highest value out increases the meter's utility by capturing short signals that would otherwise go unnoticed by the analog or digital readout. out. The peak read-out's hold time. It's ideal to be outside. br>br>At first, I was surprised that holding the meter in front of a loudspeaker produced a field strength display synchronized with the music playing (which, of course, should not have been surprising). I was able to check my 5 GHz WiFi access points and note the intermittent pattern of actual transmissions thanks to the TF2's extended RF frequency range. br>br>I noticed a scale gap while checking my microwave because the leakage safety limit at two inches is 5 mw/cm2 vs. 1000 mw/m2 is the scale limit of the meter. The metric system vs. the centimeter system The difference in meters is multiplied by 10,000, resulting in a safety limit of 50,000 mw/m2 when converted to meter scale units, far exceeding the meter's measuring range. As a result, readings must be taken from further away. The field strength is reduced to about 1/320 of the value at two inches when the meter is placed 36 inches away from the microwave with a wooden yardstick. When I did this test, I discovered that my 10-year-old son had a ten-year-old son. I'll have to check into that because my year-old microwave is significantly over the current safety limit. *** Follow up - br>br> **
It occurred to me that because a microwave oven is not a point source of radiation, the inverse square law is inaccurate at room temperature. distances of various sizes Then I came across a paper on the National Institutes of Health website called "Exposure assessment of microwave ovens and impact on total exposure in WLANs," which includes an adhoc formula that maps field strength vs. distance. The so- This formula has a parameter called "path loss exponent. " For the perfect inverse square law, it would be a number of two. The adhoc value (as listed in the paper) for distances less than one metre and with 275ml water in the microwave oven is only 1. br>br>Because of the change in exponent, the RF value measured 36 inches away from the microwave is only 1/32 of the value measured two inches away. My 10-point calculation has changed as a result of this change in calculation. The RF leakage from a year old microwave oven is fine.

Best Buy! Going to open requires the use of a specific tool
5/5

Best Buy! If you're looking for an EMF-free home, this is a must-have tool. Also useful in determining the best location for your bed. In Magnetic mode, the safe level is less than 1mG. Make certain that your bedroom and nursery are secure. In all areas, I've seen homes with regular power lines (non-high voltage) in front of them and 5mG. I also have the less expensive orange-colored Chinese brand, which is inaccurate and should be avoided. This product is well worth the investment.

With the old model, the readings are inconsistent
3/5

Pros: br>It comes in a nice box. The appearance is superior to that of the old 100EX model (TF1). br>With stable readings across a range of battery levels, this model has essentially solved the TF1's problem. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>After using the first Trifeild 100XE for a while, I noticed that the TF2 is much less sensitive than the TF1, leading me to doubt the accuracy. Even with new batteries, TF2 appears to be about 10 times less sensitive than TF1 in both standard and weighted modes. There is no correlation between the two models. Also, with the backlight on, the battery life is still limited to about 12 hours. br>Considering the functions/features, the pricing is a bit high. The additional $30 from TF1 is not justified. Update. br>br> Insufficient sensitivity. It appears that something has gone wrong. There are better options available.

At half the cost of competitors, you get superior performance! This meter, as well as Alphalab's customer service, has blown me away
5/5

I had a few questions, which they answered quickly and efficiently! The RF range easily detects Wifi/Smart Meter bursts, the peak hold feature resets every 3 seconds (unlike competitive products, which must be turned off/on to reset peak), and the backlit LCD screen is easy to read in any conditions, making this an excellent choice for those wishing to survey their home or business for RF/EMF. Don't spend more than two dollars. Spend three times as much on glitzy over-the-top extravagances. If you're looking for a reasonably priced instrument, this is it!.
