Questions & Answers
Hello, I'm an electrical engineer, and I'm hoping to be able to help you with this. )br>br>You won't find an electromagnetic device that only emits positive or negative energy because "energy" is defined differently in spiritual and religious contexts than it is in science and engineering. The magnitude (strength) and direction of the electromagnetic energy emitted by this device are both important. When describing direction and flow, engineers use the terms "positive" and "negative," similar to "source" and "destination" or "from" and "to." Imagine cutting a small triangle "arrowhead" out of thin cardboard and taping it to one end of a fairly large rubber band; now you can move around and point the arrow in different directions by holding the pointing end in one hand and the other end in the other. The longer the arrow, which represents the magnitude of your pull on the band, the stronger it is. It points in different directions depending on how your hands are held. (This is referred to as a "vector" in mathematics.) )br>br>In engineering, we use terms like "positive" and "negative" to describe the source and destination of various types of flow, force, and pressure. Electrical current is thought to flow from "positive" to "negative" through a circuit, but electrons actually move from negative to positive.br>br>To directly answer the original question, you can't have an EMF pump that only emits positive or negative energy because the direction of the EMF always has a "from" and a "to" that determines which way it is directed. br>br>I hope I've made it clear that in engineering, "positive" and "negative" are spiritually and ethically neutral terms. They have nothing to do with "good" and "bad" and are more akin to "from" and "to." br>br>Negative ion generators were mentioned in this question thread. Electrically, ions can be both positive and negative. That is how the term is defined - However, they are neither "good" nor "bad." Ions are simply atoms with an extra electron or one that is missing. Some people believe that negative ions are beneficial to their health. I make no claim one way or the other on this; instead, I encourage you to conduct your own research on the topic. The point is that "negative" simply refers to the electrical polarity (an extra electron) and has no moral connotation. br>br>I want to make it clear that I am not denying the existence of spiritual energy, whether positive or negative. I'm explaining the terms in an engineering context to demonstrate how they differ from the spiritual context, and I'm assuming you already know the spiritual context. )br>br>This is a fairly lengthy response, and I hope that anyone who reads it has been informed rather than bored. The message I'd like to get across is that many words in science, engineering, and mathematics have different meanings than they do in everyday speech, and it's critical not to mix them up. The terms "positive" and "negative" are used by both electromagnetic and spiritual energy, but in different ways.
No, you can't change it or turn it off.
Both of the batteries I have are 9 volts.

The REM pod appears to be in good condition and functions properly. However, the product is made of a 4 inch PVC threaded cap and possibly a disassembled EMF reader for a low price. You can make one yourself for less than $50 in parts if you have some basic electrical knowledge. But, hey, it looks cool (sarcasm) because of the cheaply made label. br>A note to the contractor: This is a shoddy build, even if it is only a prototype. The antenna is loose and should be secured with silicone; alternatively, instead of drilling a hole in the pipe cap and sticking the antenna through, you could have spent a few dollars on a threaded collar for the antenna mount.
I'm not sure if it's true, but strange things have happened at my niece's house in the past. The first night we put it out, it wouldn't turn off in the middle of the night. It was getting out of hand. I was apprehensive about touching it, but it didn't reveal anything new to us. I'm not sure if I'll give it another shot. lol. It's much worse downstairs than it is upstairs. I'd like to give it a shot over there.
That's a load of nonsense. When I turn it on, it goes off right away and continues to run indefinitely, regardless of where I put it.
This was purchased to replace a rempod that had been dropped and had broken one of the lights. I was relieved to receive a replacement, but this one has issues with constant beeping after a few minutes of use, and it cannot be used when investigating haunted locations.
The product works well, but there was no manual included. I'm not sure what some of the buttons are for.
Despite the lack of a product manual (which would be extremely useful), it appears to be fairly straightforward to use. I recommend watching some videos on YouTube. I went ahead and did it. Quick delivery of the product. For the price point, the shipping condition/packaging is subpar.
It functions admirably. The only gripe is the location of the 9-volt battery. When I opened the box, half of the plastic had been chipped away. Overall, the product's plastic should be of higher quality. Great product that does the job, but it is overpriced for what you get. When conducting investigations, these pods take a beating. When investigating with the lights turned off, it's easy to step on it and break it. There is a light to see it, but I don't believe $200 is worth it. It appears on most investigation shows, so I assume it's a popular item. In a nutshell, it's a low-cost item.
It's basically a spirit-based motion detector. It's a tool that I frequently use.
