The frequency of electric and magnetic fields emitted by power lines (60Hz range) is much lower than the frequencies transmitted by wireless devices. As a result, the Safe and Sound Pro II will not be able to detect power lines. This will detect frequencies in the range of 200MHz to 1GHz. 12GHz.
Selected User Reviews For Safe and Sound PRO II RF Meter 200MHz - 8GHz - Perfect for Measuring Cell Phones, WiFi, Smart Meters, Etc.
Well, I suppose it works, but OMG. My house, as well as almost everywhere else I drive, is set to HIGH or EXTREME. In my house, there isn't a single lower rating. I'm terrified to death right now. I'm at a loss for what to do.
It displays and audits the Electro Magnetic Radiation (EMR) in your environment in a visual and auditable manner. The lights that represent Low, Moderate, and High Extreme, giving you instant feedback on whether or not you're in a safe zone. It's a good sign if the color green flashes. Extreme flashing red is a bad sign. This tool has served me well in my home, apartments, and office. I now have a better understanding of how dangerous each of these locations is. My commute, walks, and hikes have all been documented. Except for my home and a few hikes, I've only found a few safe places. br>br>Many thanks to "Safe Living" for a fantastic product!.
I've used other meters before, but this one is so simple to use and doesn't take up too much space. Peak, Max, and Avg readings are all displayed in great detail. It was the best and most user-friendly RF detector I could find.
After that, I sent an email to the company because the meter was not working properly. When I asked if I could send it in for repair, I got a prompt and enthusiastic yes. The meter had extensive moisture damage when it was opened for repair. Despite the fact that I was at fault, the company offered me a substantial discount on a replacement. Now that my wife is recovering from cancer, I'm able to resume my work of reducing dangerous frequencies at home, which is a top priority for us. Safe Living Technologies is a company that follows through on its promises to help people improve their health.
For detecting RF within a short range, this device is extremely useful. The image is well-presented and easy to understand. One of my more accurate and reliable meters.
I like how you can adjust the volume and turn the sound on and off. It depicts the peak and average of signals over a given time period.
It's easy to work with. The meter will show you where there is a lot of radio frequency activity. The most important thing is to understand what can be done to lower it. It's interesting to see what happens when the wifi network is turned off in a bedroom, for example. In our master bedroom, we have a router, and turning it off reduces RF activity significantly.
Design and functionality are of the highest caliber. This device is assisting me in locating problem areas that I had previously overlooked or been unaware of. br>Ignore one-star ratings if they are not accompanied by a review or explanation.
