I believe there was another one above this with a few more light indicators on it when I was researching which Mel meter to get. This one, on the other hand, does a fantastic job. On the top, there is a red light that turns on and off. I could be mistaken, but I believe the lights were two K2 metters stacked on top of each other.
I'm hoping for a maximum of 20 feet.
It requires one 9-volt battery, which I have yet to acquire in order to put it to the test!
It does not.

Readings that are absolutely accurate. Great features, particularly those that aren't mentioned in the description but are detailed in the manual. The built-in flashlight is incredibly useful and extremely bright, which was unexpected. It doesn't seem to consume batteries as quickly as I expected. The battery can last for up to 48 hours before it needs to be recharged. Just keep in mind that if you shake the device around a lot, the EMF reading will go up because you're causing the device's own electric fields to be picked up by the sensors, but this isn't a flaw or a mistake; it happens to all devices. I just wanted to make sure that no one buys it and assumes it's broken. It will work perfectly if you just keep the device still and walk slowly with it. It's an excellent device that's also extremely long-lasting. Love it. This product comes highly recommended.
PROS: br>Price is reasonable, and the display is clear and backlit. Measurements that can be changed. Infrared- LED lights that are compatible A temperature sensor is included in the package. CONS: br>br> br>Awful instructions that don't explain what they're supposed to do. There is no audio to signal changes or spikes. I'm still unsure whether the "record" function saves readings to the unit's memory or simply freezes the screen. Screw- During investigations, it's difficult to change the batteries because of the battery cover.
I'm the founder of Spectral Investigations, and I've had great success with this device. It won't spike as quickly as a K2 meter or a Trifield meter, so it won't give you a quick reading. However, it is extremely accurate and provides excellent temperature readings. I'd probably add another to our current set of tools.
For ghost hunting, I purchased this Mel meter, which performs admirably, particularly the temperature sensor. It appeals to me. It would have been nice to have the pouch to store it in, but that was the least of my concerns because all I needed was the Mel meter. What a fantastic tool this is.
I've wanted to get one of these for a long time. I'm so glad I did, because it's fantastic!.
On a Ghost Tour, it was put to the ultimate test. It's a cinch to use.
Even though I had it in the small side pouch, the fact that it required protection bothered me. I discovered that an m M Minis Bottle Works is a company that specializes in the production of miniature bottles. And I just stuffed a few tissues in the bottom, which appears to keep the thermometer probe safe for the time being.
In terms of EMF, it's the best bang for your buck. Personally, I don't think the extra lights are necessary. The only issue is that they failed to include the bag that was mentioned in the description. I sent a message to the seller via email. They'll handle it, I'm sure.
