If you place the meter close to these devices, the meter will pick up any EMF that they emit. Any number greater than 2 has been found to be harmful in studies. 0 can be hazardous over time, and it also depends on how close you are to a device with high EMF emissions for an extended period of time.

Does it turn off on its own?

All you have to do to turn it on is press the center button once. The first green light continues to illuminate! To turn it off, press the center button once. It's time to turn off the lights.

Is it necessary for me to keep pressing the button with something in order to activate the paranormal equipment?

When the power is turned off, all lights should be turned off as well. There are no lights turned on. It's already equipped with a battery. Once you've pressed the center button, the device will turn "on." The first green light should remain lit at all times, indicating that the device is turned on and operational! Push the center button once to turn the unit off. If there isn't a strong enough EMF, none of the lights will turn on. There have been no changes in the environment. However, if the meter lights up yellow or red, it means the EMF field is very strong, and the environment has changed. Moving the meter close to a microwave or your Power Meter Box is a good way to test the device. Some devices emit electromagnetic fields, so keep an eye out for anything that might emit one. Works! We used the device at home and at my sister's house and didn't get much other than our WiFi router and television, so we weren't sure if it was actually effective; however, we took it to a ghost hunt at an asylum and it went off like crazy! It will take a few days for the package to arrive, but don't worry. It's made in the United States and shipped internationally. Only for the purpose of ghost hunting did I purchase it. It's quite effective. It is well worth the money.

I'm not sure if it can detect ghosts, but it does a great job as an EMF detector. After getting a 5-light reading on a wall, I discovered exposed wiring in my walls.

This isn't going to work

This device was just delivered today after I purchased it. It wouldn't get any higher than the first green after I turned it on and placed it next to a few appliance items. The reading on my other EMF reader was extremely high. I attempted to replace the battery, but it was not successful. but without success I'm going to come back.

This irritates me because it does not always work. When I turn it on, the lights stay lit up. I went outside and they were still lit up. I also tried removing and replacing the battery to see if that was a factor, but it did not help. It was a waste of time and money to travel to me.

When ghost hunting in daylight, there is no sound and it is difficult to see the lights

It's fine, but what can you expect from a basic K2 meter? I'd only recommend it if you plan on using it at night or inside your home, but to be honest, I'd never use it inside my home lol. I go ghost hunting a lot, so I'm sure something will follow me home. The only issue I have with this K2 meter is that you must be in the shade to see the lights, and there is no sound, which I dislike because I prefer to hear sound on some devices. However, this is only a basic model, so I will be upgrading soon.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do; I just wish it was a little heavier because I'm worried about how long it'll last given how light it is, but so far it's been fine.

It's not going to work! Doesn't work in the least! This was a Christmas present for a ghost hunter, and it's made of cheap Chinese junk that doesn't work
