I'm glad I bought this tool but the poor documentation has been a big disappointment. I am probably more likely to use the tool in the future than ever before. During my first use of it, I was able to identify a problem in the headlight switch that I had never observed before. That was cool because I was able to figure out which terminal was power and which one was ground on the headlight and I was able to test it without having to remove the lamp. In the case of a professional mechanic, I can see how this would save you a lot of time. As a DIYer, it is nice to have, but if you don't use it all the time, I am not sure it is It was because I wanted to learn more about auto electrics that I purchased the probe. As a diagnostic auto technician, I buy a lot of tools, meters, gauges, scanners, and test lights. So I understand what works and what can be overlooked. In my experience, this probe is higher quality than most, and I need to use it almost daily to locate check circuits. Professionalism is evident in the grade.
