The picture of the tester shows you the The document is marked with everything. The reason your vehicle does not have a 12V light could be due to no ground being connected or no power to the light hook up.
(4) of my four have made a contribution. There is a separate 12V power wire for the round 7 blade plug that comes with my vehicles.
In the case that you have a 7 way to plug into, it will work. However, there are some motor homes that are designed differently. This will work for any pickup truck style, but I'm confused about motorhomes. It is my hope that it will help
That should be the case. As for the lights on your truck not lighting up when you push brake, I would check the brake lights on the truck for illumination. If they do, there is a wiring problem somewhere else. There is a fuse for trailer brakes on some trucks. Those are the first places I would look.

With this tester, I have a problem with the indicator lights being on only one side. When plugged into the connector of my truck, the lights will face the bumper so it will be difficult to see the indicator lights. It is necessary for me to check the status of the lights using a mirror. Depending on how your connector is mounted on your vehicle, this may not be an issue for you. My second issue with this tester is that one of the blades on the 7 pin end has been pushed all the way back on the connector, so it does not make contact with my truck's plug. As I said above, I disassembled the tester and pushed the blade all the way to the front of the plug, as it is on the other testers. In the next use of the tester, I noticed that the same blade was pushed back to the plug. There is a problem with snapping this blade into place. It has been requested that I be replaced. When I receive a replacement for my battery, I will update my review.
If this had 5W worth of resistors, my Redarc Tow Pro Elite would work. In its current state, it is just a simple matter of connecting two wires with an incandescent bulb to test the brakes. I thought about wiring in my own resistors, but honestly if i need to test the brakes, the light bulb method works well.
This makes it almost impossible to see them because they're hidden between the tester and the bottom of the bumper. There would be no need to test the 4 pin plug if they were on the end where the plug is. It would be useful if they were on the end with the 7 pin plug, but that is Even though this will suffice for what I need to accomplish.
Located the 7 Blade electrical towing connector at the back of the SUV and plugged in the tester. Upon turning on my running lights, braking, and annotating the turn signal or hazard lights, the top line of three green LEDs kept flashing at an extremely dim intensity continuously. After checking the circuits with old trailer or car brake/running lights and the "7 Way Blade to 4 Way Flat Trailer Adapter" I was using with U-bolts, I decided to use old trailer or car brake/running light bulbs. A trailer for hauling goods You can see photos here. Using this simple setup, it was confirmed that vehicle towing circuits were in fact working as they should. Based on my experience, I can only assume that, at least on my pickup, the green LEDs on the tester do not provide enough electrical load to enable it to be detected by my SUV and power the relevant blades to function properly. Amazon's highly-regarded free Returns process was used by the tester to return to the company. A big thank you to.
Also, I know it depends on the vehicle, but I had to crawl under the car to see the lights on both the 4 pin and 7 blade connectors. It might be possible to ease this with a better design. Could you make the panel moveable or have double led lights?.
In other reviews, it indicated that the light portion of the pin tester pointed down when indexed to the socket, but the one I purchased has it displayed on top as shown in these reviews. It is a good indicator to ensure the harness and pins are working.
I used it to check the wiring on a RV trailer. As for the product itself, it was right side up for me, so it had no issues. It seems that those who had it backward either had their plug installed upside down, or the tester, and if the tester is the case, it can be reversed by disassembling Everything appears to be in order.
There is always someone to help you if You can check the trailer plug on your vehicle with this tool. Connectors work for flat 4 pin connectors as well as round 7 blade When they are plugged in, some claim the lights are upside down. As long as your square keyed side is located on top, then I can tell you that the LEDs are also located on top and very visible.
