There is a small power supply that is separate from the light that connects to power, and there are clips on the light itself. With the help of a white cord, they connect together.

Lights that move smoothly work well with vaulted ceilings (3/12 pitch), and the gimbal of the light is perfect for me. There is only one complaint the junction box allows 2 - 6 volts but only allows 3 - 6 volts. There are two 12 gauge romex wires in the box (so several lights can be wired simultaneously). There are a total of 6 wires (the ground, the white, and the black). junction boxes with 14 ga wire (smaller than 12 ga) and am finding it difficult to find a way to fit all six wires into the very small compartment. There is absolutely no reason NOT to use the Wago connectors It would be impossible to use wire nuts.
