I removed and inspected two of the eleven lights I installed in my kitchen ceiling after they stopped working after about a month of good service. While the lights worked, both J-came up with errors Burnt boxes were disassembled because they smelled so bad. A severe burn was present on each PCB at the same location. In order to ensure I receive a replacement J-cell, Amazon put me in contact with Torchstar in CA. I have installed a few boxes. It is working fine, but I requested a call from Torchstar tech support to discuss electrical safety, but I have not heard back. The power to these will be a close watch in the kitchen, and I will only turn them on when I am there. It is a very serious issue and I will report it to UL & S Canadian Standards Association. These lights really appeal to me and I hope this is only an isolated incident. The latest update is from I will replace J with - Thankfully, the original boxes and equipment have been working perfectly since the replacement, so I'm taking the next step by purchasing another set for my office, and then the A problem with the boxes must have arisen from an abnormality.
The 5000k color temperature is too blue for a workspace 4000k is good. As soon as I surveyed the options, I was thinking the 5000k would be the best choice for me considering I like white things. It was too blue at 5000k. Even though I was grateful for the 4000k, I was still very To provide a comparison, here is a standard incandescent lamp. It is best to turn the recessed lights off when I want a homey mood, but turn them on when I need to work. In addition, it is You can totally make it work I was able to chain these together, with the romex going through one knockout, and the romex coming out of the other knockout, and then connecting to the light with the supplied wire nuts. it's a tight fit, I would suggest cutting the hole on the outside of the line instead of inside it because it was a pretty tight fit when I did it. Once the box is wired in and tucked away, I used the supplied template to cut a hole in the drywall. After you have cut the hole, you find the box (hopefully you have measured everything properly and marked the right spots before you did any drywalling or painting), and plug the light into the connector, then fold back the spring and insert it This light is super strong and it holds it tightly against the wall no matter what the wall thickness is I love the way the string of lights work with my Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi system. I got a 600W Dimmer from Fi. I tend to keep the brightness around 30% most of the time. If I could go all the way to 100%, it would be quite intense. However, I may have placed all the lights too closely together (roughly 6' between each light). It was a little scary to think there would be some whine or buzz from a transformer or capacitor that switches voltage, but these devices are completely soundless. It was a breeze to conduct the inspection. A rough translation is as follows Wiring up a practice box with spare wire for the inspector, I routed and stapled all the wire where the lights would be, and wired up the wire with uncut loops where the lights would be. It was these ultra-thin watches that piqued his interest He thought they were thin lights since he had never seen them before, but was satisfied with them. Finally, he failed to check the final wiring for final inspection and was content with just ensuring that the dimmer functioned.
A bright day. This product is an insulation rated product. Install takes just a few minutes. Although I do not leave reviews for a lot of the items I buy, I am so happy with these lights that I felt the need to do so. The 30-foot high wires I have installed are awesome and I have them in almost every room of my home (living room, bedroom, office, garage, kitchen, hallway). Even when you consider the cost and time it would take to install them, the new fixtures are a huge upgrade from what I used to have. It is 153PH As an example, I installed 8 in the living room of my 14' by 18' home, which has 8' ceilings. Each light is about four meters away from the other. Generally, I dim the bulbs to about 75% when I use them every day, spaced 5' apart. My opinion is that 3000k lighting is the only color for indoors, 2700k is too yellow and 4000k+ (best for a garage) is too white. It is not important what color you choose, just make sure the same color is used throughout the house to create an impressive, clean There is only one requirement for a 6 on the specs. An opening of approximately 02" has been created in the ceiling. Before I made my first cut, I measured one of the backs and it was about six inches long. 25" tall. The holes on my board have all been cut to six. With a width of 25 inches, these lights will fit snugly and snugly without There is great comfort in knowing that they are rated for insulation contact. As well there were a few existing canned lights in the kitchen that required a thermal barrier that I would always encounter when going up in the attic, and I had to fish them out every time. As a result, the fixture was in contact with insulation that had reached it. These are quality lights that are reasonably priced and easy to install. I would buy them again and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a quality product. Several days from now I will upload pictures.
It's amazing how much has changed! There is no need to remove the cans - simply connect the wires and place the LED lights. Our kitchen will also receive the 12 pack to complete the installation of the remaining 8 panels. Initially, this was more difficult since we had to drill drywall holes and run the BX wire. Ultimately, we decided to replace existing fixtures (in the center of the kitchen and above the kitchenette table) with LED units to achieve the best look for our kitchen. Without the hanging fixtures, not only does it look great, but the kitchen looks bigger as well. This warning applies When you use multiple lights in a kitchen, you will need a dimmer to tone it down if you are going to do On Amazon, we found a great compatible dimmer 3 pack This is a Lutron DVCL-based receiver Italics 153P There is a possibility of ordering another two The spares pack is to be kept as a spare. I don't expect all of the LED panels to fail, but some of the DC power supply units could fail over time. This was one reason why we selected them It is especially important to separate the power supply from the fixture.
