Initially I was able to notice the PWM of the leds at any brightness level, but soon adapted to it to where I now do not notice it. There have been visitors who made mention of it, however. It arrived with some large scratches on some of the plastic covers that were NIB. With the pack I returned, those were able to be swapped out. Apart from that, these are the closest thing to recessed lighting you can get in a standard or low profile junction box (both of which worked fine).

There was nothing good about the ones from LOWES. There are a lot of LED holders made out of paper. It was a pleasure to try these lights when they arrived and I was very pleased with them. LEDs don't have paper encasing and are not set in with a base of paper. Instead, the LED is enclosed by metal and plastic, and they are nicely spaced. I only took a few seconds to attach the light and hang it. Four stars because the light does not spread easily, but provides light directly below it effectively. The closet that I installed this in is maybe 5 feet by 3 feet. The fixture replaced one of those cheap, open single bulb fixtures. In the old fixture, there was an LED bulb that was 14 watts. In the old one, it spread light to the corners of the closet like it did with just a bulb. Now, this fixture gives ample light directly below it, but it does not reach the corners. This is an easy to install device. Including the time it took to get the step ladder and screw driver out, it took maybe 10 minutes. My old one did not have a ground wire and I removed this one to improve the look

It has only been installed so I cannot comment on durability. My needs are only for two of the four packs I purchased. It has a recessed look, compared to the flat.
