There is no way to do it. I cannot use it with an adapter. I have a 3-prong plug as well. It is possible to run through the setup and program it correctly, but it does not turn on or off automatically.
Those aren't good for outdoor use, according to me.
Hello, it is not a Bluetooth connection, it is a WiFi connection.

To begin with, let me tell you what I like best about this little smart It's possible to control both the outlet (obviously) and the night light with Apple's iOS app, HomeKit. What a great idea! It does not have this feature on the smart outlets from other manufacturers that I have. The plug, however, can only be controlled via Apple's HomeKit platform, and the night light needs to be controlled via the manufacturer's app. My approval in that I can control both of these devices separately through Apple's HomeKit system is a must! This plug-in received 5 stars because, as well as its other features, it has other reasons for being rated highly. In the first place, it's a great deal. For $20 you get a smart plug and a nightlight that works with HomeKit, Google, and Amazon We are talking about a huge milestone here! As a smart home enthusiast, I had to pay twice as much for plugs like this when I was first starting out. A great thing yet again? It's not necessary to use a hub to connect this to a computer. In some smart home lines, the devices can only be used with a hub provided by the manufacturer. This is not the case with Vocolinc. There is no requirement for a hub since it is server-based. I particularly like the packaging because it is simple and elegant. As I said, there's not a lot to say since it's a small device, but the presentation is good. There's no hassle in setting up the application. It was more convenient for me to set up the device in HomeKit and only manage it You've probably heard about this little guy already. I also connected him to Google, no problems, but make sure you update the firmware on Linkwise first! The only update I had to do was for my device, and it only took two It's no problem at all. As I have had the plug running for a while now and have not had any problems. I did have a power outage last week and some devices did not come back online right away including the Vocolinc, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. The process took a while for some other brands as well. I am very satisfied with the overall product and the price at which it is available. I am very happy with this one and will continue to use.
Having trouble installing the application meant I had to change the Apple Home settings. As a result of my experience with Leviton switches, the best procedure seems to be this one 4) Make sure Linkwise's app is installed on your iPhone/iPad. 2) It is important that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the network where the switch will be installed. Using the same name, a 4GHz network is available. Make sure the outlet is plugged into a power source. A blinking green light is a sure sign that the light is working. You can join the Wi-Fi network by letting the phone locate the outlet and selecting it. You may need to wait a moment or two for this to happen. There will be a slower blinking of the green light. you have joined, open the Linkwise application and select the Add Device option.
6) Scan or enter the 8-digit 7) When installed, the switch will appear in the Apple Home application, as well as accessible. 8) In the Linkwise application, select Devices and then press down on the outlet you Check to see if the firmware needs to be updated. You can update it if that is the case. If I replace my router, I will use the Ubiquiti UniFi HD 802. For what it is worth, my router is a Linksys EA7500, though if I replace my router, I will go with the Linksys EA7500. The enterprise 11ac Wave 2 wireless standard Wi-Fi Access Point (WAP- The United States) simply because it is enterprise quality and can connect up to 500 devices. Apple Home is able to control these outlets very quickly and instantly based on commands sent from the app. you are using Siri, it may take a little longer since the app has to communicate back to an Apple servers before it can communicate with I recommend these outlets. They do a great job and are only $15. Drop outs and non-graduating students are not a problem Establishing a connection.
I have had success setting up these through HomeKit and not the downloaded app with an iPhone, but I've never tried setting them up through any downloaded In any case, I only plan to use it with HomeKit, so that will be perfect for me! As for connecting to HomeKit, the one thing I would recommend is to reset the device. Every time I reset it, I am able to do so. They worked great with your iPhone, but it was only HomeKit that I was able to set them up with. The only way to connect it to my home is to use the Home Kit. That will work great! If you get your new smart outlets, plug them in and hold the power button down for 10 seconds, then release it. You'll see an option to scan in the code in your iPhone's Home app. It will be up and running in a few minutes if you keep your phone nearby. You should also check whether your phone is connected to a 2G wireless set-up as opposed to a 5G set-up. Five-gigabit wireless networks do not support this. While I haven't been able to get their app to work, the company says it should work if it's connected to a 2G network. I use Siri, however, only through a Home Kit because I enjoy Siri and want to be able to use it when I plug her in and hold the power button down for a few seconds until she responds. You will then need to scan in the code that was included in your home app on your iPhone. It will be up and running in a few minutes if you keep your phone nearby. You should also check whether your phone is connected to a 2G wireless set-up as opposed to a 5G set-up. Five-gigabit wireless networks do not support this. The company said the app should work if it is connected to GG, but I have not been able to get it working. The only time I use it is around kit because I am pretty into Siri and I want to be able to use it that way. Using the iPhone app to control my home is great. There are now four of them!.
