Taking it out can be a good thing, but it should never be done. Buying a 3 prong adapter (less than a dollar) is a better option
That's not the case, in my opinion. There are no UL symbols on the device. That being said, I have no concern about using it, as long as it's used as it is intended to be. If I were to use it to control a heavy duty electric motor, for example, I would not recommend it for a lamp or similar device with low power consumption. My LED security light and my bedside lamp are both meant to function as a night
In fact, I have mine plugged into a power strip at home, and my work station is hooked up to an

He is a little chubby. My need was to control a lamp located in another part of a large room than the one I needed to. I discovered that the receiver's diameter was too large to fit with another device's power adapter in the same plug outlet when I first attempted to plug it in. The receiver does not really present a problem for me, but for someone else who does not expect to have to reroute/reposition adapters for a variety of things, this could present an issue. The receiver needs to be connected through the pairing process, which involves pressing the button on the side for a few seconds until the light Because my finger is quite thick, the surface beneath the button was larger than my finger, and the flashing light could not be seen. Just a simple 3-step process. I counted to 3 and then took my finger off to check. As far as the pairing process goes, it was really simple. That's all I have to say. I had a unique issue with the remote this morning, and it was resolved on the first try. It does have a separate magnetic base, but it isn't something I intend to use. It is a device I highly recommend in spite of the minor issues I mentioned.
purchasing this, I had tried several remote-controlled outlets that were part of the "smart home," but I returned them for being too inconvenient. It's very easy to use, and you don't need a smart phone, a computer, or Google Home to use it. With the magnetic mount you also get a little round switch that is easy to use and sticks to a Not only lights can be used with it you can also use it for other things. I have one attached to the fan in my bathroom. A fan in my bathroom is in a fan/light unit hanging from the ceiling. Being a combo unit, I noticed that the fan is always on along with the light. However, I did notice that the fan plugs into a small outlet inside the unit. In my case, I used a very short extension cord to pull the LoraTap Mini Remote Control Outlet Plug Adapter into the ceiling fan/light combo. I hung the switch between the toilet and shower and then hooked it up to the mini remote control plug adapter. You've got Bob for an I thank LoraTap for his contribution. A gift of this would make a great gift, too, as the price is just right and who couldn't use it? As another idea, here is one. The modem and router for your internet connection are located down in the basement, right? Rather than running downstairs to pull the plug, you can simply use one of these to reboot all your components. You can turn on the garage light in your car by sticking the remote in the My friend Bill used it for his aquarium light after I gave him one.
Exactly where Lora got the picture (and Photoshop) of the outlet on which they mounted their adapter, I don't know. Attached is a photo of what the real world looks like. Using this device is not recommended unless you are sure you want to It's time to let your second outlet go. The item has been returned.
My lamps look so much better with this! Love it! It was behind the rocking chair and I was tired of crawling over the chair to turn on and off the lamp, so I bought this for the nursery lamp. Further, you have to cycle through it again and again since it turns on more light bulbs just before it shuts itself It is very frustrating when it is 4am and you are dog tired and your eyes are getting blasted with Despite that, it is perfect in every way. Plug it in and plug the cord into it, turn it on, and it works. Keeping the lamp controller by the door, near my chair, where I can easily reach it, means I never have to crawl over things just to turn the light on, and it is always set to the lowest This would definitely be a purchase you would make again.
The storage closet in which I store things had the old-fashioned pull-out shelves A chain ceiling light was present, and I did not care for it whatsoever. An electrician would have to work extremely hard and spend a great deal of money to have it wired into It eventually got to the point where I purchased not just one but two of the pricey GE It was not successful in about a year, and it failed as well in the future. The batteries in both of them (having replaced these batteries thinking the problem stemmed from them) were faulty. This product has been working wonderfully, and the design is much better than the previous one. I just screwed it up- There is a shorter light socket (the GE socket was quite long and, after added a light bulb, hung lower in the closet and the bulb would bump. I am frequently in and out of this area, so it gets quite a bit of use. In this case, the round disc switch is different from what you're used to. A metal switch plate from Home Depot stuck to a magnetic switch, which was a smart purchase, because the switch is mounted to the metal plate with magnets. There are also adhesive mounting squares included, and I could have simply adhered them to the wall, but I'm not the biggest fan of them. I love the way this turns on and off, and it looks so nice on the wall like a Furthermore, the battery can be removed when the time arises so that the player can be repaired. A simple rotation of the back is all that it takes to detach it. The two remote wall plug versions I've subsequently purchased will be used in other areas around my home where I just need a convenient way to turn on and off lights. The fact that each one has a unique code is a plus since they won't As well as the great range, the remotes work well. The overall impression is that this is an excellent product that I would.
I love that the LoraTap Mini Remote Control Outlet Plug Adapter with Remote works SO well! It is very easy to install and does not require configuration. I was able to use it right away. I have no problem using the remote anywhere in my home. My only wish would be to have one with a faceplate so it was smooth against the wall and looked like it belonged next to a traditional light switch. We have it about five feet away from the outlet, but have tested it from all over the house and outside. In the photo, it is still attached to the wall with a foam adhesive, but we've added a command strip for easy removal so it sticks a bit higher from the wall than what it came with. As soon as we decide where we want the new light switch to be, we will remove the command strip.
