Questions & Answers

Do they all come in the regular package or just gold or silver? What are the chances that gold will handle more voltage?

I believe there is only a difference in color, the other features are the same. Kind regards,

a list of the types of data that can be exported from the app and in what format available online?

Unfortunately, you cannot export any data from the application itself, but you can view statistics of usage by month within the application at least I wasn't able to export them. I hope this helps.

Where is Alexa when I try to connect my plug?

You should be able to enable the TopGreener skill and link the accounts if you are connected to the TopGreener application. You might want to check that you utilize the same login information for both the TopGreener app and the Alexa app when linking these We are happy to help you at [email protected] if you need further assistance. I wish you all the best from TopGreener

Can these be used with Google Home? My gosund is currently one of four devices I have, and only 3 of them have ever worked correctly. Unfortunately, their app is very difficult to navigate. ?

I believe the devices will work with Google Home. Google Home will need to be configured to activate the TopGreener skill. These devices all use the same Tuya chipset, so you can use the Smart life Smart Living application or Tuya Smart application for both the Gosund and TopGreener Inc. wishes you all the best.

Selected User Reviews For TOPGREENER Smart Wi-Fi Powerful Plug with Energy Monitoring, Smart Watt Meter, 15A, 1800W, Control Lights and Appliances from Anywhere, Gold, 4-Pack

We are concerned about your privacy and security! The devices work like a charm, but I found it weird that they require you to create an account with Topgreener to use them with Android or iOS Analyzing the application data and its net traffic I noticed that an enormous amount of location data is being collected, combined with device usage, phone numbers, browser history, and network info and being sent Concern arises due to the amount of personal information that they are able to intercept and pass on to their servers
3/5

Due to Apple's latest App Store Terms of Use, they had to disclose all those details to update the iOS App and this explains why it's not up to date.

I implemented a workaround for its Default-to setting and I'm happy with it A problem with the off switch
4/5

Monitoring current power consumption is straightforward (no pun intended. Measures and displays current, power, and voltage in milliamps, W, and on a variety of time scales A moment's notice Moment (with a short lag inherent in every 4GHz WiFi), daily total, or monthly total (with a helpful graph illustrating the rise and fall in energy use from day to day). The data visualizations and tables in general are of a basic nature and could generally be improved in what they display and how they display it. The monthly graph could be made to show each day's average temperature, and the table showing immediate usage could be better differentiated between the daily total and what is truly happening at the moment. It's nice that Google Home can easily connect to an outlet, but the only functionality included is a switch to turn it on or off. From what I understand, there is no way to get information on the energy use of the outlet from Google. There is an unfortunate default setting, as others have stated, in the event of a power outage that turns the outlet off. There is no clear indication until it happens, and this is not what is desired from a device. The problem can be dealt with in this way The outlet can be set to turn itself back on if it is turned off, or you can automate its behavior. Having tested this by shutting down power to the relevant room at the circuit breaker, I can confirm that it works as described In the event that the outlet loses power and is reconnected, it will turn itself back on almost immediately. My only surprise is that it did so so quickly (within 5 seconds), due to my assumption that it might take up to a minute for the device to connect to the Internet. The following is how to implement a workaround for the "default-to" problem If you have an 'off' problem, you should follow these instructions (they apply to Android, but I'm not sure if they apply to To access the 'Smart' feature, go to the TOPGREENER app's main screen, where you will find the list of devices and outlets. The following Under the 'Automation' tab (top), click Accept. The following An automation rule can be added with the plus (+) symbol The following A condition is added when you click 'Add'. The following This device may be used for any purpose you deem appropriate The following - [Select the outlet you would like to automate] The following Click here to switch to The following Click on 'Save' ["OFF"] The following 'Add task'' - [Now, back at the screen where you selected the Automation Rule you wish to create] The following This device may be used for any purpose you deem appropriate The following A 'Switch' to a different site The following "ON" is selected [click "Save"]. The following [Ignore 'Left time' and click 'Next' to move The following . [Back in your new rule's Smart Setting screen] Click 'Name' and name your new rule - Ignore the rest of the settings The following All you have to do now is click 'Save'! The outlet would receive the following information from you It is important that you turn yourself on if you find yourself turned off. "It is enough to make them work quite well once that is done. ". It is UL According to the listing and rating, it is rated for 1800W, so I presume A 5 star rating would be given When outlets were left on, they were switched on by default As described above, the app's data were presented in a more clear way By integrating Google Assistant, the outlet could be controlled in more ways than just turning it Here are a few pictures that I think may be useful if people are wondering about the size of the units, and in particular how much space is left under the unit for using the bottom outlet. There is a chance, but it will be a tight fit.

Easily programmable WiFi switch that is easy to set up
5/5

Voici a summary This is a WiFi enabled electric outlet switch that is perfect for controlling electronics that use a lot of power (I. E. Heaters, hair dryers, toaster ovens, This switch is one of the easiest I have used and took me less than a minute to set up. You can use this app easily and as quickly as possible. This is a great product if you want to control an appliance or electronic device via your phone and want an on/off power switch. You don't need to worry about the brand, I have a TopGreener indoor outdoor water purification system that I installed In addition, I have used one of their wall USB outlets for several years now, and it has been working well. So far, I think their products are of good quality and accessible. The following gives a more detailed look at A detailed examination of the situation. * * *Requirements The words *br A WiFi router with a broadcast rate of -This outlet will not function at 5GHz frequency - (the outlet will not work at 5GHz). - It is the use of duty. So that you do not overload the circuit and trip the breakers)*br You will need a compatible mobile phone or tablet (Android or iOS). The words *br The following setup is what I used The words *br WiFi from Google (mesh network with both wireless technology The 5GHz and 4GHz transmitter bands)*br I've got a Google Pixel 2 XL phone- The setup is simple since there is an unused dual connector standard outlet in the house. Connect it to an open electric outlet wherever you plan to use it, hold down the on/off button at the top of the device until the backlit icon of the wifi icon blinks (hold for approximately In the "search mode" the plug will be put into action. Register or create an account on iPhone or Android, and then install the TopGreener app. In case your phone or tablet is connected to the same WiFi network, the device should be able to find the device within 10 minutes This takes fifteen When the app is found, you will always be able to open it to control the device. There are a few neat features in the apps, The words *br A timer is available for your convenience - A scheduling control system* - A monitoring tool to measure energy consumption - Using the on/off switch. * Using the timer/scheduling feature I found both of these to be useful, but there were a few issues. A couple of small issues are the timer is not very accurate, and the alarm does not work. The value is at least by a couple of percent off In both tests I performed during the first and second minutes, I observed a few seconds of lag. In the printed instructions (included in the box with the plug), this is specified. Additionally, I find that the user interface is not very intuitive (see This product has a clock dial with a black/orange color scheme, but I found that it was quite confusing when trying to set the There seems to be a mistake in the color of the digits (the orange and black colors seem to be opposite). It makes setting the hours more confusing since there are two rings of digits (I mistakenly thought I was setting minutes, but I was actually setting hours. A very confusing situation). By simply changing the color scheme, highlighting the selected digits with a background color, and allowing both am and pm to be selected instead of two rings of digits, you can make the UI a lot better and easier to use.
The scheduling control algorithm is not the most accurate or reliable. Whenever I have tried it, it has been found to have a delay between 20 seconds and nearly one minute between the scheduled time and time when it turns on or off the light. This is what the specification says. Adds or subtracts It may only take 20 seconds, but my experience tells me otherwise. It is not a huge problem since they still work, but they are off by seconds and not minutes or hours, so you just have to make sure that you account for the timing error when you schedule. As the energy usage monitor is also very inaccurate, it is only useful as a reference only I don't understand what formula they are using or I do not know the formula they are using. Taking a look at my screenshot, I see a current draw of There are nine V's. Despite this, there are only 5 people on the team. There should be a difference of approximately 9W when it is only 2W. The rms value should still be greater than 5W even if we take it into account in the calculation. The device should have a higher power draw (without being plugged in) if I account for the power draw of the device. Therefore, it should only be used as a guide. Those interested will find that the device draws a very small amount of power. When idle (with nothing connected, switched off), it consumes 16 watts and 0. 27 watts when it is fully loaded. It uses 42W (when the switch is turned on and nothing is An AC power meter and a precision bench source were used to measure these values. The pros include The words *br Setup is simple and easy - Timer and schedule functions are available, which can be scheduled for each day of the week* Cons Does exactly what is advertised. The words *br *requires setting up an account (I am not sure what server it connects to, so you might want to do some additional research if you are concerned)* -- There are some scheduling and timer controls that are a bit off, and the user interface is not very intuitive. There is not enough plug space (US standard two-prong electrical outlet) for it, even if it is slim. The words *br (See screenshot. ) The app has a network test function, but I always get an error message saying that my connection is too slow, even though my broadband speeds are 150Mbps and 150Mbps respectively. At home, I have a 25Mbps UL connection. The words *br There is an advertisement for this product stating it will stand up to heavy use Plug is rated for a maximum of 15 A, which is the maximum current. Any standard US 3 prong plug in any home is allowed to draw up to the allowed current. Despite this, I'm not sure how useful it might be as many devices such as power strips have their own switches made of digital technology rather than mechanical ones. This plug works well for devices that can be turned ON and left at that, but not for devices that have a digital switch (like a Dyson fan for example), since you'll need to turn on the fan once it has power (provided by the plug once turned on). Be aware also when connecting to high power devices because if the device fails to plan correctly, it may turn on for longer than expected and cause disasters or other problems if it is connected to a heating element (e. The use of space heaters or hair dryers). The words *br As you have to connect the account to Google Assistant, and I didn't want to do that at this point, I didn't try it with Google Assistant. Later on, I might give that a try. The words *br According to the app store, there are some low ratings for the app, so it may or may not work for some platforms. Honestly, I hadn't checked but it worked seamlessly with the setup and devices I used for me. Overall, I liked it to a large extent so I give it a 5 star rating.

A simple way to flash OTA with Tuya My android phone was able to flash these OTAs with no issues by using Tuya An old Raspberry Pi is being used to run the conversion
5/5

I have included the necessary Tasmota template, so others don't have to go through the trouble "TGWF115APM" and "GPIO" Based on 0,"BASE" I can confirm that it works and the devices are compatible In comparison to the alternatives, these are such an amazing deal! You don't have to solder to flash them, and they just Even though they are large, they do not block all the other outlets as shown in the picture.
