The gateway I have from Comcast/Xfinity is an Arris dual band gateway. As it was set up on both bands, it had the same name. The switch I bought can operate on the SmartLife app and handle a 1500W heater, so it came in handy for me. The outlet system has 3 independently controlled outlets, each capable of handling 1500W of power (although in reality you will usually only use 1800W, since most household sockets offer only this level of power). Even though the smart switch was a bit pricey, I was able to set it up successfully and it has worked flawlessly. The only device that works with it is I had to change the settings on my gateway to broadcast separate SSIDs for the 2 GHz network and the 4 GHz network. In order to connect the device to the network, it must use the 4 GHz or 5 GHz signals. As soon as that was done, it connected quickly and was easy to configure. It was straightforward to download the app for this device and it allowed for easy control of the switch, including setting times for when it would work and when it would not work. In addition, the fact that this switch has 3 independent ports that can be checked and disabled individually (or all of them at once) makes it a great product.

This stuff is pretty foreign to me, and some of the products I have bought have been a little challenging to link. The situation was different with this smart plug for outdoor use, however. I set it up in less than a minute, and it works perfectly. I only have one outlet outside (and I use electric for a lot of things Lighting up a fountain, string lights, tree lights, garden lights, etc. ) is easy with The best part is that I can control each one individually, just by using my voice. I also like the fact that the outlet is completely exposed to the elements, and here in Texas we've had rain every day since I ordered it. There have been no problems with water overflowing the outlet, nor has it ever tripped it. What a wonderful product! I am extremely pleased with it.
I have been quite pleased with the results thus far. You're right, I love I appreciate it. Uses the Alexa voice assistant. Despite the rain, the tarp held up well.
