Because of the aluminum wiring, this USB outlet was unable to be used. Customer Service at ELEGRP
Thank you for contacting us, customer. We manufacture and sell two types of products. I'm sorry, but I don't think they're available on Amazon yet. gang wall plates to retailers, but they're not yet available on Amazon. Customer Service at ELEGRP
I'm not sure, and it's difficult to tell because it's been in place for a long time, but the build quality is excellent, Chinese or not (I assume you're concerned about quality and want to know where it's made). It was simple to install in place of my regular 100V 15A outlet, and it has served as my "go to" charging station for my tablets and phones for the past six months.

Because this outlet does not support fast charging for Samsung/Android devices, the charging capacity is below average in today's world. This was by far the most disappointing experience! The back's thickness allows it to fit into standard blue electrical boxes. Another disadvantage of the item is that the 120v outlets and USB ports are not evenly spaced, so a charging block with usb cables plugged in may or may not fit. The tamper-proof plastic pieces are inconvenient because they don't always work properly, so they're no longer a selling point. With one exception, installation is relatively simple. This outlet's loose jiggly screw design is disgusting and should be prohibited in all electrical outlets. I'm keeping them only because they add two USB ports.
What was the end result? This is fantastic. It appears to be functional, and I've plugged many devices, including iPads and other large devices, into the USB ports for charging. It's convenient to have that much (4A) available for charging devices. I've used the 110V outlets for a variety of devices and they've worked perfectly. br>br>I'm definitely going to buy more of these for other areas of the house.
The internals are junk, and the screws get striped, making it impossible to tighten them. Loose wires are a fire hazard; the internals are junk; and the screws get stripe, making it impossible to tighten them. Your wires will be loose in the box, and if they come loose, they could burn down your house. The first one I received, as well as the replacement, both had the same issues. Reading all of the reviews that appear to be from humans, it appears that they all say the same thing.
I purchased a total of fourteen. I have about 14 of these in my house now because they look a lot better than the yellowed previous outlets we had and allow us to quickly charge all of our USB devices without having to use wall blocks, which is a big plus. It's a breeze to install; simply strip the wires you'll need and insert them into the back before tightening the screws. ***I did run into an issue where our house had three neutral or three hot wires at the same time, which I solved by stripping two wires more than the third and looping one around the top of the other, then inserting the remaining inch of exposed wire into the outlet rear along with the leftover wire in the second slot provided and tightening the screws. I used electrical tape all around to keep it from falling to the ground, and they all work fine; I feel like I've done some home improvement/value raising without having to hire a maintenance guy, which is nice.
I changed out the outlet next to the dining room table in the dining room. It serves as my office, and it is where we do our homework. It's so much easier now that I don't have to go out and get the plug for the phones' USB cord. They took up space where I could have plugged in the computer's socket plugs. Phones can now be plugged into USB ports, while computers can be plugged into standard ports. Now things are a lot easier.
The screws that held the wires together would not tighten. There is a flaw in the design, or I received a faulty unit. It was a waste of money. It isn't possible to use it. EDIT: With a screwdriver (not plugged in, of course), I was able to disassemble the unit and adjust the attachments so that they were properly tightened. It's now functional.
I had a lot of trouble with USB finding the right one; The majority of them are USB-powered or have USB ports. A only or are significantly more expensive; this has three USB ports! The build quality is good, and they charge quickly; it also comes with a screwless wallplate for $2. If each item is purchased separately, the total cost will be $5. In addition, it is significantly less expensive than the orange big box retailer.
It works perfectly and I was up and running in no time, thanks to the detailed instructions and quick installation. Because my man wasn't here, I didn't know if I could do it. It provided power to my iPhone. When I plugged them into the ports, they were lightning fast on the iPad. I suppose it meets all of my needs, and I won't have to buy a bunch of chargers any longer; they've already provided everything I need, which I appreciate and will most likely purchase again.
