Plastic) in a box designed for new construction Receptacles that operate at the same voltage as a regular 120 volt outlet. It might help if you read this.
The wire must be 12AWG if the rated current is 20 amps.
My 240 VAC is made up of two phases. The neutral and ground are now connected, but the neutral is not connected. One of the neutral backs was tied to the back of T Regardless of whether I change out the connection in the future without running a new cable, I have the gang box on hand. There is no neutral in the receptacle, and it is designed to work with 240 VAC (2 phases).
You can see that this is a 250V receptacle when you look at the same picture as I am. Unlike many sockets and switches, this one does not have a neutral cable. Both sides of the plug are hot, but one is + and the other is You should paint the ends of the insulation black or red if your cable still has some white. Screws are not colored because black can go on either side. The black can go either way, and if all your cable has left is white connect it to the other side. You have the wrong receptacle if you are trying to use it for 125V.

During the process of wiring my shop, I installed a dust collector with a 2 HP motor. I found this outlet to be very useful. There are a lot of good quality outlets here. I would rate it as an 8. 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Unlike a 110 jack, these don't have labels like a normal plug since you are hooking up to 220 volts rather than 110 In place of a neutral or anything like that, 110 legs will make 220.
If you have 220V appliances in your shop or home, then these will be important to have. There are a few I have, and they all work In addition, it is very easy to install.
We will do everything we can to achieve this. I needed this for my air compressor that runs on 220V. My only wish is that the screws for the wires had washers under them for strand wire, but I made do.
The quality is awesome and the price is great. I found the wires to be very easy to install as compared to some more expensive local.
This was used to hook up a Duraheat garage heater in my basement. This application was perfect for it.
The seller is also very helpful. The order was shipped As described, I received the item. For the price, this is a great item.
I am very impressed with the quality of this product. There isn't much to say about it, but I have seen some outlets that were cheap. There are many positive things to say about this one. I used it to hook up an air compressor that runs on 220 VAC.
