I've got it, I've got it! There is no problem with it. The house was under siege, but who ran it? It is me. What do you do with all the lights and switches and plugs? I do them! Besides whoever put it in the breaker box and attached it properly, who did it? That's right! I am the one in that picture. I'M SO EXCITED!.
The National Electric Code seems confusing to me because I am a diyer and only have a basic understanding of electricity. Take nothing I've written as advice to use for your own project and make sure you check the voltage on every wire. I needed to add a new outlet to a circuit with 15 amps, and this was exactly what I needed. Unlike the plastic strips I used previously, the wire is stiff enough that I did not require special tools to guide it through about four feet A flexible conduit system was used to add some outlets to the garage, and everything went smoothly. Since I will probably want to add outlets in different places throughout the house as we settle in, I purchased more length than I expected to use. Buying locally might have been more cost effective if you had hardware store coupons or a military discount. However, the price on Amazon is similar to that of my local hardware store, so I chose to buy it online due to the extra 5% rewards for my Amazon Store Card.
Wire of this gauge is not as thick as the conventional 14/2 gauge I have purchased from box stores in the past. The wire is also wrapped with paper, something I'm not a fan of since it can cause a fire.
Following the codes was the only thing I needed to do.
My daughter's cabin in the mountain has a new room and a 100-foot wire run will be used to wire some new receptacles. Because the wire is flexible than most, it was easy to pass thru the studs and, more importantly, through the holes in corner studs. It is easy to cut and weld the outlets and switches to it. For the same gauge and length, it is also MUCH less expensive than you can get at Lowes or Home Depot.

Although, I am using it for lighting, so if that is the case, it won't be a concern for me. You need to pay attention to the 14/2 rating when you are wiring outlets so that it doesn't.
This was just as good as I had imagined it would be it was stiff and hard to handle. So far, nothing has caught fire I think it will do what I want it to.
