It is dependent on the amount of current you intend to draw.
I highly doubt it; instead, I would purchase wire that is specifically rated for that purpose.
Yes, I believe it would be ideal because it is extremely adaptable and will not irritate people.
Given that it is rated at 600 volts, I believe it will be fine. It depends on the amperage required by the application, but 14ga should suffice for lighting.

It is not solid copper wire, and it does not bend or flex like copper. This wire also has a higher resistance (Ohm's) than real copper wire.
It's useful to have a variety of hot lines to choose from because it makes things easier to understand. br>br>Useful when wiring complicated boxes, especially in the back of the house with things like home automation relay boxes.
This wire is extremely versatile and simple to work with. I use it to hang one-quart hummingbird feeders, and it seems to be able to withstand the abuse. This is a wire I strongly recommend.
This wire has a low "memory" and is very flexible. When you uncoil it, you get a fairly straight (non spiraled) wire with a good feel to it. I've had no problems with strands breaking during wire stripping or connecting spade connectors, and I've used it in automotive projects with no problems. It comes highly recommended from me.

I made heavy-duty test leads out of it. I also used it to make leads for my volt and amp meters. Wire that is both flexible and of excellent quality.
These Si insulated wires are of high quality; even after tinning and soldering, the wire remains plastic and workable. The conductor appears to be Ag-coated copper, but it could also be oxygen-free copper. Though the internal resistance of Silver coated Copper wire gains very little in terms of performance, the surface's resistance to tarnishing (oxidization) ensures that the inductive properties of the wire are maintained over time.
