As far as I can tell, yes. The lid is sealed with a rubber band. Both of the boxes I have are fitted on a pasture and serve as solar controllers. I would have a picture of the seal, but both of the boxes I have are attached to a pasture.

A copy of the 8. I purchased it. 6" by 6". I've thought about it for those of you using it for amateur radio and here are some thoughts In order to be able to run coaxial cable into my house without bending the cable, I bought a cable this size. As far as I'm concerned, the metal tabs on the outside allow me to attach it to my house (vinyl siding) without having to modify it. My first impression was that this plastic seemed not as durable as PVC, so I realized I could break it if I used a larger diameter drill bit. The solution I came up with was to clamp a piece of wood on each side of the holes I wanted to drill, which prevented cracking and worked perfectly. you plan to drill a lot of holes in this box, you may want to use this technique to keep it from cracking. As long as the summer storms roll around we'll see how well the box will perform once the winter goes away. At the moment it is still winter and I have barely had any moisture issues, however, we'll see once summer arrives. Likewise, the latches for the enclosure seem to be working fine. *I have included a link below to a site that sells "cable glands" that The cable can be run through these holes while keeping them All of them are on the bottom of the case, so I don't anticipate rain water entering the box, but we shall see how well they work. My overall impression of the intended outcome is that I am pleased with it. I've got one last note to make. The program I used was The 8X cable works fine with it and RG213 or LMR400 should also work fine with the larger diameter cables. However, if there was a lot of stress at the cable gland I might consider something thicker because this case from a durability standpoint is a bit thin.
*OVERVIEW* These are great as a It was a simple process to setup and install. As a result of researching other similar and competitive items, we found a few things that stood out. It is the product that I chose. I am happy that I chose it. OUTDOOR WIRELESS ACCESS POINT PROTECTION
I bought two of these (actually three) for the purpose of providing outdoor protection for As the access points are not cheap, I wanted something that could provide high levels of protection while allowing me to easily connect to the device. The following items meet the criteria. In case of rain It is true. The sun-proof fabric is high quality and long-lasting It is true. Freeze-proof materials are available. We don't know. I was concerned about the dimensions as I needed to fit the “TP-" into the pan (Deco S4) is the Link Deco Whole Home Mesh WiFi System. Despite being small, the Deco fills the junction box perfectly.
WIRELESS FRIENDLY
When the Deco was placed in the box, I did not see any sign of degradation of wireless signal. Although I did not have sophisticated RF measurement devices at my disposal I was not reporting a huge drop in battery levels in the apps on my phone. tried to use the Deco app and it did not change the signal value. There was a great deal of signal two yards away (as well as some occluded line of sight). Having been a customer for many years, I am pleased with my experience.
I was pleased to have a replacement unit provided by them, even though they didn't stock replacement parts. I was not able to leak the new one. In addition to the other five-star reviewers, I give the product a five-star rating. It has received many positive reviews, so I'm hoping it will be one as well There's something wrong. The controller inside has its own water resistance, so no damage was done. I really hope there is a simple fix, but I installed this the day before rain, and when I went outside to check, the box was wet on the inside. There may be an What are the chances of a bad ring? There was nothing obvious to be found. Moreover, the screws for mounting the plate did not come with the unit. Thanks to my few items that fit, I was able to put them on. In spite of the issues, this project box seems like a promising one. A similar box may come in handy for some other projects I'd like to undertake, but I'm not sure. Please note

For water incursion, 2 points are awarded. There is one point deducted because hardware is missing.
On the back of my truck, I put this box to use to protect a secondary fuse box. As the electrical connections are located below the truck bed, I wanted it to be sturdy and waterproof to prevent them from being damaged by rocks or rivers. I like the quality of this box, the plastic seems strong, and it has thick walls. If the box is closed, the metal latches form a good seal. My attempt to make all connections waterproof was possible with some cable glands installed in the side walls of the box. This is a great box, recommend it!.
I've used four of these enclosures so far with great success. It is nice to have a cover that is not opaque, latches that have a good seal, and the clear cover. I have not implemented any projects that will be exposed to sunlight or direct rain, so I cannot speak to how they would do in such tough There is a plastic sub-base that comes with them There are reinforcement ribs on the back that keep it about 1/4 off your workbench when you mount things to it. However, you can't see those when you look at the panel with square holes. The #8 x 3/8" button head course thread screws work perfectly to mount the din rail, and the ribs prevent you from screwing it to your workbench once it is mounted. It's a very nice panel to use, I have already bought a few more since I previously mentioned it.
My camera setups have been done with three of them so far. With no problems, I was able to mount a PoE network switch. When the box interior is wet following heavy rain, the boxes remain dry. I plan to buy the product.
