I doubt it. There is a good chance this unit will not hold up. As well as being expensive, it would require a lot of space. Almost any home store will have a proper box for mounting your lite for tenth the price, and it will be made of metal so that it will hold due to its Could post pictures of the light you are trying to mount, and one of the location it is supposed to be mounted, so I can provide advice on what products you should use in order to do the job. Though not perfect, this is a useful solution for walls that are made out of masonry or other hard materials. It was too big for the lights, so I couldn't seal them or get anything close to it, but I didn't want to rework them as they were on sale. It doesn't look so great, but they are passable. I bought these to fill the gaps between my new lights and the bricks. Attached is a picture of what it looks like. In order to install a Ring spotlight camera above a garage, I mounted a bracket. It does not have an electrical box in that location, but there is an outlet inside of it. The brown log exterior of my garage matches well with the brown wall plate, which I spray painted brown. It looks just as professional as it should. I did not have any problem mounting the Ring device on.

As for this specific issue, I was able to run the romex cable through the wall from the attic space at the exact height that the light needed. There was a romex feed through the wall that went directly into a carlon box on the One of the issues I had was that a specific light fixture that is different from the others did not mount flush to the carlon box, it kind of overlapped it, the light was made primarily to be flush mounted to recessed boxes. Because there was a stud behind the box where I wanted the light, it was not an option for me to recess the box. As I was trying to figure out how I could solve the problem, I came across this mounting bracket that was flat on the back and I immediately ordered it. I found it to be the perfect solution to all of my My old Carlon box was removed and the Arlington 8161 mounted. Then the light was reinstalled. Because now the light fixture sits flush against the Arlington 8161, everything works out perfectly.
In this case, the light fixture had to be mounted on a flat ceiling covered with siding, so I chose the model intended for flat surfaces, although you can mount them on walls with any type or size of siding as well. I got exactly what I wanted.
In addition to installing a floodlight, it also served as a conduit. Installing it was easy, just had to drill a hole there for the wire to pass through. Caulk was applied over the hole to seal it. Attached the wire to the building by pulling it through the wall plate and going through the screws. Once the fixture is wired, it is ready to go. The look and feel of this item are good.

This lamp mount was used on a brick wall next to but not directly over the existing porch lamp wiring to mount a porch lamp I made a few modifications to it to make it work on a brick wall There was plenty of material on hand to work with, as it is a robust device. A mounting hole on the back was drilled to align the bricks with the mortar between them. As a result, the top of the device is clearly marked as "top", which is crucial since it has a weep hole.
