I'd like to buy this item, but I'm not sure if the kit comes with a single bracket or two. Thank you very much. ?

Can these be used on a 7? How about an 8-inch cutout? I'd like to put them to use in Jamo 6. 5 speakers in the ceiling for home theater surround sound?

They are intended for a total of six people. Speakers in the ceiling, 5" In the JBL Arena 6IC, I used them. Any speaker that is larger than this will be unable to fit. If your cut is physically 7, however, it is a different story. The holes, at 8" in diameter, may be too large. The drywall tabs on the speakers (at least on mine) are about 1" long, so they won't have anything to grip when the screws are tightened. If you have a problem with a hole that is too big for 6, If you have 5" speakers, you could try filling the gap with spackle or drywall plaster to make it smaller.

Polk Audio RC6s are compatible

These were purchased for Polk Audio RC6s speakers that were being installed in a new building - I needed something right away, and these were the only ones available - It was the perfect fit. In case it wasn't clear, there are two pairs in the box - not just one, as some of the other brackets on the market are. br>br>Measure the length and width of your speaker cutout. It does not need to be perfect; it only needs to fit. br>br>4 stars because everything is always way too expensive. They're available at Monoprice for less than $10 each, but they're always sold out or take a long time to arrive.

This is clearly stated on the product. There are 6 people in the Construction Kit. Inch In- Speakers in the ceiling. It does not, however, state that the cutout hole is 7 inches wide. There are only about three companies in the world that offer a 6" which is 3/4". Speaker with a diameter of 5" and a height of 7" 5/8" is the size that will fit the 7" Leviton PCC55- 3/4" Leviton PCC55- 3/4" Leviton PCC55- KIT Pre- Kit for building. NOW, the majority of high-end speaker manufacturers use an 8-inch cutout hole. 3/4". So here's the issue with this company's claim that their KIT FITS 6. The speakers are 5" in diameter. This isn't true; from my experience, some Legrand speakers will fit unless they're made by JBL / Leviton. As a professional audiovisual engineer, I can tell you that those speakers are terrible.
