This product was used to hang lights from trees. Moon shadowing effects are used to create landscape lighting. I bought 23 Kichler junction boxes from Amazon. For design and durability, I am very pleased and strongly recommend it. Because I used them to mount on tree branches or limbs, their compact design makes it simple to attach them to the round surface of the tree limb. br>Thank youbr>br>Even though the mounting box has three screw holes, because the light fixture is above ground, consider attaching a cable to the box/light fixture as a safety precaution because over timebr>the tree limbs/branches grow in size(width/diameter),*a test of time*, but *stress* on every part during different weather conditions(cold, heat, and high winds) that nature brings about br>After that, the cable was secured to the branch or limb where the mount box was installed.

This was screwed to a brown concrete block that was nearly completely buried. It served as a point of reference for my path lighting. This box isn't cheap, but it's well made and should last for many years; if you're looking for trouble-free landscape lighting, this, along with silicone-filled wire nuts, will do the trick. My only criticism is that the price is a little high, but there are no doubts about the quality of the product, including the gasket.
