These clamps are unfamiliar to me. For example, rigid vs. emt. What exactly is it? actual. 1/2-inch rigid internal diameter strap in inches? thanks! ?

Would they be big enough to hold a 1/4-inch rope?

I made small chicken tractors out of these. They were a great addition to my new portable breeding pen. They're useful for a variety of projects besides plumbing. I'm going to buy more and stock up because we came up with a whole list of potential uses for them while working on the project we bought them for, and we're always doing DIY projects during the Spring/Summer months, so we'll be using them again. It was precisely what I was looking for; These were purchased and painted with chalk paint, then screw anchors were installed in the walls and these bad boys were mounted onto our metal pole/antique style head board to keep the head board from hitting the wall during my and the ladies' happy time; ) to ensure that the children were not awakened or disturbed

So, they're probably fine for the material they're made of, but they're not as sturdy as some I bought from Lowes. This is what you'll find at your local Home Depot. I used this to make some bicycle panniers, and all of the Halex straps broke due to the weight, but the Lowes ones are still fine, not even stretched. br>br>I'm giving them three stars because I'm sure they'd be fine holding electrical conduit on a wall, but they seemed a little flimsy to me.

They are way too small and had to be returned because they aren't true to size and don't fit 1/2" pipe

Aside from that, Everything is fine; the web product description is correct at 20/bag, but the manufacturer's packing list reads SKU OR8673618 "3/4" Emt 2 hole strap 25/bag
