The wood lathe works great with this product.
This motor works perfectly and has not given me a problem. It mounted easily as well as being able to place the motor the same way that it replaced the original. A band saw converted to metal cutting was powered by this motor instead of the fixed speed AC motor.
It is only the tiny box they placed on top to protect the power connection that I disagree with. Due to the size of the component, I could not use wires of a larger gauge that are needed for a 12 volt 3/4 HP motor.
My first purchase was this motor and I put a 100 volt There is one gearbox on the vehicle. This motor has been a great buy for me. In addition to being able to adjust the speed, this thing drains the bank account quickly.

The motor failed after approximately 15 hours of operation the brush mount got hot and the insulation on the Despite the fact that replacement brushes were sent, they started melting after only 20 minutes too. Here you can see two photos one is after the first failure, and one is after the new brushes were used.
We bought this for our southern snow machine and it works perfectly in that machine as well as providing.
