Questions & Answers

For tightening the screws for the wires in this breaker, what torque setting should you use?

A torque of 30 pounds per inch is required.

Can this breaker be used with FP L 124-E Is the panel 40 square feet?

We are glad to hear from you! According to my research, I believe that the UBIF260N would work within that FR L 124-bit frame. This panel is 40 square feet. The panel number on that panel is an older one There is no part number for the Federal Pacific panel. In the current situation, these UBIFs should fit inside the Type NA panel as well, which is the NEWEST replacement by far. You can imagine that each panel has its own features, but I think it would be safe to say if you bought that UBIF from Amazon, it should be In case that doesn't work out, Amazon offers one of the BEST return policies on the planet. **** Finally, thank you once again for your inquiry and please let us know if you have any additional questions. Please accept my sincere thanks! The JRL Electric Supply, Inc. staff will perform this function as of Monday, October 10th, 2015. Please dial 888- In addition to

How does this work for the ?

There are no ideas in my head. The new Stab-Lock was an exact match for the old ones A failure of the LOCK breaker. There was no difference in the shape or spacing of the electrical contacts, and it fitted into the panel exactly as it did before.

How do I tell if these breakers have a UL label?

Although I'm not sure for sure, there is a label which indicates that it belongs to the OBR. The breaker may not be there on used older breakers.

In a Stabbing situation, I feel it's essential to use it Breaker panel for Lok circuit breaker
5/5

There may be others who would benefit from this. The breaker panel that came with my old Federal Pacific power supply fits here perfectly. As a result, I was able to install a 60 amp breaker box easily and it fit perfectly in the space. In the future, I plan to add it for some woodworking equipment I bought from Amazon several years ago. Over the past five years, it has been used It has been perfect for over 10 years. These breakers are hard to locate and very expensive if you have your local supplier order them for you. (My local supplier said it would probably cost several hundred dollars. ) Thanks to Amazon, I can order anything I want.

I used it for one season before it failed
3/5

I used it for one season before it failed. Upon inspection, the braided copper wires of the bi-metal cable presented distinct discolorations at the junctions The metal strip is connected by metal strips. According to the manufacturer, the AC usually draws 29A of current, so this failure was caused by the connection point having increased resistance. I got an A Current path along each side of the line was zero. Each had a resistance of around 5 ohms, while the other had a resistance of My conclusion is that the bi-directional switch has a resistance of 5 ohms The metal wire is connected to the braided wire via a metal attachment A failure was reported on the side. have installed a new UBIF260N, and I hope it will last longer than the previous one.

It's not good to fail three times in a row
3/5

It is possible for a product to fail, as As the only draw with a short (less than 15') run, I hooked up a 48A kiln. This is my third firing of the kiln and it has an intermittent breaker popping now. Having measured 49, I would say that I am healthy. There is a 5A breaker on one side and a 50 on the other. Two other cases are 2A and 2B. That is much less than the 60A rated capacity. During the time the kiln was drawing power, I noticed a faint hum, but didn't think much My belief that it was just a precursor to eventual failure is now at odds with my earlier claim. I cannot find many options, so I'll have to decide whether I want another one or look for another brand. Unfortunately, there aren't many to choose from.

Exactly what I was looking for
5/5

A local supplier would not be able to provide these since we live in an old house. I am happy with how fast the product arrived, how well it fit, and how smoothly it.
