I added a surge protector to my order. A large chunk of the insulating case had been broken off the back when it arrived. It still works, and I installed it because it's not in a dangerous location. But it's inconvenient because who knows what other problems it could develop if it was hit hard enough to break that part off. I won't be able to return it for the price, but I will replace it eventually.
Even on damaged or partially burned bus bar flanges, fewer problems and faster repairs are possible.

It's the end of the road. In my GE panel, it works perfectly fine. It's nothing out of the ordinary. It was only shipped in two plastic bags, but it arrived undamaged and in perfect working condition.
These are good breakers at a good price, and they will fit Bryant, Westinghouse, ITE, and probably other breaker boxes.
