Questions & Answers

Would this be strong enough to lift three heavy objects What are the three prongs of the outlet plug?

Pulling fuses is the purpose of this tool, not pulling

Are there low profile fuses that work with this system like the ones in the new Honda civic?

This puller is designed for commercial use in electrical cabinets and requires at least 1/4 inch clearance above and below. I am not sure what kind of fuses are in Civics, but these pullers are for commercial use in electrical cabinets. It's not a good idea to put them in

Do you mean we need to order three sizes of tools and two pieces of each?

It seems as though the description is trying to say that Ideal makes three different size pullers. In regards to the 2 piece order, I am unaware of what that means. The entire piece is made of one piece of material.

Worked fine, but didn't Under my hood, I tried using it on my F150, but it was unable to grip anything, not a small fuse or a large one
3/5

Since I had really hoped that this would work, I am surprised that it did not.

When you use the right size fuse, it works smoothly. Now that I have a backup fuse pullers after losing the one I had for 20 years and just recently retrieving it, I have a second.

The fuse can be pulled with this! This is an excellent puller at an excellent price. Those companies operate under the same umbrella as Idea.

Our weakest link! Worked some of the time on fuse holders that couldn't be tightened
3/5

There aren't any that really light the fuse on any of the good ones. The connector snaps off once it bends. Put something stronger in your hands. There's no point in reading this.

A lot of good information
4/5

If you have large hands and small fuses, pulling fuses can be a challenge as an electrician. The second time I have owned a pair of these. After my last set lasted for more than a decade, a trainee dropped a piece In the past, they have held up well.
