This was used to repair a roof vent fan that gummy up and allowed its shaft to spin slowly, causing the motor to overheat and blow the thermal fuse. After I disassembled the motor and cleaned it up, I relubed it. All of the bearings were fine, but I decided to order a thermal fuse replacement, which I found here. The one that was in there was identical to this one. I have been having no problem with the fan for over a week.
However, in normal conditions, it makes the circuit. It is nice to have a clear housing so that you can see the fuse.
Using this, I was able to repair my bathroom vent motor. It isn't really a repair you can do if you don't know how to solder or if you don't have any electrical or mechanical In spite of that, I was able to save the cost of replacing my 20-year-old.
I saved more than $30 by using this attachment with my handheld vacuum.
Thank goodness for II being able to find them.
