Questions & Answers
I used two of these, one to represent neutral and the other to represent ground. I bridged the respective bars with a larger heaven gauge wire. I needed more space to accommodate additional circuits.
This terminal bar was not 11 inches long when I used it. The insulators were mounted on the outside of the cabinet to provide excellent isolation.
I'm not sure, but it could be up to 8 gauge. If you need a larger gauge for something like a main neutral or ground, you can purchase a single lug kit that will bolt onto this.

Subpanel neutrals and grounds must now be electrically isolated, according to the code. They're both connected to the same bar in the main panel. I'm working on some projects that require inspection, so I need to make sure everything is up to code. I needed a lot of these because I have a lot of subpanels with different numbers of connectors. It works perfectly; simply place it in the box and relocate all of the neutrals to the new, isolated bar. Hiring a professional is always a good idea if you don't have the necessary knowledge and experience.
I needed to add a neutral bar to have enough taps so that multiple neutral wires weren't under the same screw, and it had to be isolated so that neutrals weren't bonded to the ground.
Because I couldn't find any neutral bar insulators in my area, I turned to Amazon. When I got it, I took out the bar's insulators and replaced them with a longer bar with more wire holes. I was looking for a 20-position bar with insulators but couldn't find one. After drilling some mounting holes in the new bar, this worked perfectly.
It's not as big as I expected.
fit perfectly.
