I used a 6 gauge wire.
I didn't try 22g wire, but the screw "bottoms out" when fully tightened. Screw terminal strips could be a more cost-effective option.
Yes, this ground bar can accommodate 14-inch diameter objects. Wire with a diameter of 4 awg
I haven't decided yet. Except for the service entrance, the panel specifies that "only copper OR aluminum wire" be used. This ground bar works well and provides enough torque for tightening connections (I'm a jerk when it comes to electrical connections).

It really works. I only needed the big lug, but the kit was less expensive than buying individual lugs, so I removed it and screwed it into my power panel's ground buss. The shed has passed county code inspection and has not burned down. Win- I'm going to win!.
The process was straightforward and predictable. According to the paperwork, it comes with self-tapping screws for attaching to the load center - It only comes with standard bolts, however. I'll figure something out, or I'll go out and get some screws - However, don't expect it to be installed right away.
I was in the workshop working on my breaker box.
did not employ.
Much less expensive than a ground lug, but identical to the ones that come with the OEM one that came with your box - It's impossible to make a mistake with this.
I used a large solid copper wire, possibly number 4, which the bus bar easily accommodated, and then connected my other wires to ground each device to it in a neat and tidy manner. This is a great option for grounding.
It functions admirably. Mount it and use a ground rod to connect it to the ground. Everything is in order.
