I've never seen an amperage rating on a ground bar. It's designed to be mounted in a lighting panel and used to land ground wires. Only a Murray panel should be used for this one. It is not designed to carry continuous current; instead, it is only designed to carry ground fault currents until the source breaker can clear the fault; this is how it is UL tested and the only way it can be used. br>In a larger panel, a ground bar kit with lug openings rated for 14 to 1/0 copper wire will be installed. According to the specifications, it should be installed in a breaker panel that has at least (12) - Spaces between breaker plates of 1" That's either a single phase or three phase 100A circuit. a word of warning: To mount it, use the screws and/or brackets that come with it. There aren't any TEC screws or anything along those lines. Why? Electrical safety is critical because nearly everyone uses electricity, which has the potential to kill in seconds. It's not about making up rules for the sake of it. Example: If a fire occurs for any reason, and the insurance company's investigator notices (he is trained to look for errors) any electrical equipment not being used in the manner for which it was "listed," the insurance company will say, "Oh -

Since I was adding a subpanel to my Meter Panel, I used this to increase the number of ground spaces that were available. This product met my needs perfectly because it has five larger 1/0 holes rather than the three that my old grounding bar had.
It appears to work, as I receive no errors, implying that it must conduct energy.
The (5) 1/0 lug holes and low price attracted me, as well as the fact that it was easier to install than the solid bar style. If desired, use two TEC screws; no predrilling or tapping is required. Straight lugs on the bar - there is no mounting foot - Due to mounting screws, you lose two ground holes.
The blocks were delivered on time and in good shape. I bought these to put in a connection box so that I could connect my phone, cable, and electrical panel to two ground rods. It was a success! Different hole sizes correspond to different conductor sizes. I was able to tighten the screws to the desired tightness without stripping them.
I don't think anyone will ever question it because it fits, feels sturdy, and looks like it was meant to be there. It also allowed me to add more circuits without breaking any code.
As part of a grounding system for an antenna.
It's a good way to beef up the capacity of the meager ground bar kits found in most older panels.
It's fantastic!.
