I had to add a grounding bar to my Murray panel. There weren't many options, and this was the best price I could find with enough grounding locations. I'm not a fan of where this grounding bar goes in the panel, but that's not an issue with the grounding bar; it's with the panel itself; I didn't want to drill new holes in the panel, and I'm not sure if that's even legal, as I'm not an electrician. It was simple to put together and was a perfect fit. The screws are sturdy, and the bar is in excellent working order.
I (illegally, of course) wired a small plastic shed to house a UV water purifier. There was only one bar in the breaker box, and it was supposed to serve as both ground and neutral (bad, bad, bad). As a result, I added this bar to protect the ground wires. It's simple to set up and use.
Our circuit breaker panel needed to be relocated, and this product met our requirements. Extending circuits with two 8x8x4 junction boxes and a ground bus was required. Wire gauges ranging from 6 to 14 awg were accepted. Installing it was a breeze. It is well-made.
This is for my Square D box, so I bought it. It's a cinch to use. I used the screws and bracket that came with it to drill two holes and mount it. My breaker box needed a quick fix.
I put it in yesterday and it worked perfectly. There were plenty of convenient mounting holes, as well as all of the necessary screws, to keep the ground wires in place.
It was a perfect fit for my Murray panel. On the existing ground bars, there were no more connection points. I rewired my panel, which allowed me to finish the job in a professional manner. There are two self-tapping screws included with it. thread through existing holes in the panel's back.
Ground Bar is excellent.
