I'm dissatisfied with the location in which this must be used. It must be within 10 feet of both the front door and the internet. So don't waste your time if your internet isn't down near your door.

It was more like me teaching them how to spell IP when it came to tech support. This was all working fine before, but now none of them will connect. Because I'm an engineer, I almost always manage to get stupid pieces of hardware to work, but not this time; I'm ripping out all the Lockly hardware and replacing it with August Locks. I'm getting rid of the Lockly stuff I bought a few years ago. You have been forewarned of this danger. GET OUT OF HERE!.

The i7 scans the room for devices, and through this device, the Lock on the door shows a Bluetooth symbol as if the i7 is trying a code. I spoke with iRobot, and they said it's because of this device. If you unplug this and just run the Lockly via Bluetooth, the door no I'm guessing the vacuum cleaner sends out something similar enough to fool the door into thinking someone is trying to unlock it with Bluetooth, but it's through this device, who knows.

Don't waste your time with this product, which claims to have a 25-year range. The Bluetooth connection to the lock is 30 feet. This is a complete fabrication. My hub is less than 5 feet from my lock (in a receptacle right next to my door, no walls or anything between them), and it won't connect; it's also less than 10 feet from my router, and it can't even make a 2. A connection of 4 GHz is available. This entire setup is a waste of money, and you'd be much better off investing in a Z-Drive. Whether it's a wave or a Zigbee-based communication system, smart lock that is based on the internet.

The Lockly Secure Hub is a fantastic product. My Alexa integration was simple to set up as well. My front door lock is within 10 feet of the Lockly Secure Hub, but the nearest router and/or mesh point is 15 feet away. If you have an Xfinity Modem/WiFi Router combo, a cheap Belkin router, or even the Nighthawk routers, keep the distance under 10 feet (I guarantee a $300 Nighthawk won't give you much more range). If at all possible, invest in an Eero or AmpliFiHD mesh network. It will not only extend the range of your Lockly Secure Hub, but it will also resolve a number of other WiFi issues in your home. br>br>After using Lockly's smart door lock and hub, I am a lifelong Lockly fan.

It's a good idea, but there are a lot of things to think about before buying this product. It must be plugged into a socket that is no more than 10 feet away from the lock. It will only work if you have a separate 2G internet connection. Even after doing all of that, I was still unable to connect it to the locks' blue tooth. I was never able to get it to work properly.

Range constraints are a complete waste of time. Only if your wifi router and door lock are within 10 feet of each other can you use this feature. I'd love to be able to set passcodes or unlock the door from afar, but I'm out of luck because my router is on the third floor of my home.

It works, but it's a bit slow and requires a pin. This isn't a bad thing for security, but it's pointless if you have to shout the pin loudly enough for the assistant to hear it. Other than that, it constantly disconnects me from my network, despite the fact that three other smart devices in my vicinity have never had any issues; it's really only useful for remote unlocking doors when you're not at home, and it's a pain that you have to buy a hub for each lock you want wifi access to.
