The outside dimension of my 13" by 21" is 21". A round edge is present on all long dimensions of the flue. Is this model suitable for my application? What would be the best option if not you?

As for the cap, it fits perfectly on my flue, which has rounded edges on its long dimension. There is some extra wiggle room in the cap's dimensions and a small amount of flexibility.

Can this be used with an opening of 12x20?

This was very difficult for me since I had to bend the wires most of the way to fit the chimney They are made of steel, so they won't bend on a ladder easily.

An oval flue of 13" x 21" is available to me. Is this model tall enough to fit 5 inches from the outside edge to the outside edge?

you are looking at has dimensions of 13x21, so I don't think it will fit my glum, which has dimensions of 13x19. I will say it is a beautiful cover, and it is very easy to install.

Do these two flues measure 13 x 21 1/4 in length will this fit without bending?

It would be best to use the 13 x 24 double cap CCSS1324

I like the way it is They came with screws to mount them. I would buy it again or just recommend it. I assume it will be durable for many years to come.

Cap would have been nice, but it could have been better

It is a nice cap, but I would suggest that there should be vertical channels for mounting screws to allow them to be moved up and down for flue mounting. It was too close to the top edge of my chimney flue to fix these screws in that position. In order to get a firm hold on the flue further from its top edge, I had to bend the bottom sides of the cap outward so that the screws could be pointed downward.

Suitable for the job
