Questions & Answers
There is a label on it that says ETERNABOND ROOF SEAL,
It is possible that there is some kind of caulk out there that Eternabond won't adhere to, but I don't know what it is. In theory, I am pretty sure eternabond could adhere to your "large gap" on your RV roof if there is enough clean surface for it to adhere to.
Yes, it has a rubbery texture on one side and a sticky texture on the other side. All of these reasons led me to consider this tape to be the best. I love it because it's really durable and works well. The backing of this product is very strong as well.
As far as Brick is concerned, I am not sure it would adhere very well

The trailer is mostly beige with black trims and accents. I am very thankful we chose 2 inch black tape to complete the trailer. A seamless look (I wish I can honestly say that our experience with our trailer since purchasing it brand new two years ago has been the worst. Each time we take it down the road, it appears that the roof separates from its area of attachment to the trailer's side. Having a dealership service center is a waste of time. My husband and I both read a blog written by someone who added sealant tape to their entire trailer and told each other we were so done with the Dicor sealant that is messy and has not helped our problems. Here is a suggestion for an application This is a very sticky material! As I was standing or lying on the roof of the trailer, my husband applied the tape as he marched up the ladder, while I unrolled the tape and held it at the perfect angle (hahaha). At the end, he had 8-1/2 feet of tape. It is easier to work with 12 inches at a time this way. If this is done, you will not need The first nice weekend in Washington allowed us to apply this treatment as well. It was about 60° F at the time. Considering the weather, I would say it was the perfect time to apply. I think the tape would have been a bit more difficult to work with if it were warmer There would be goo on the underside and it wouldn't have been as sturdy. In addition, it is impossible to take off once it is on! You have time, so take it at your own pace.
Metal and EDPM will be the only two materials that Tape uses. An EDPM flat roof overlapped a metal drip edge flashing, so I tried to cover the seam with this. I noticed that both the EDPM and the drip edge were brand A cool 62 degrees Fahrenheit characterized the weather. As far as I can tell, the RoofSeal tape sticks Between the layers on the roll is a plastic backing strip that prevents it from sticking to itself. There is no problem with the strip. There might have been a difference between the roll I got and the one I received. "Gorilla Tape" had excellent adhesive strength, but this tape had much less than most duct tape. EDPM (pond liner) tape sticks pretty well to metal, but not so well to a plastic surface. There may be no problem if the downward pressure were continuous (as it is in the bottom of a pond).
Reading the reviews and doing some research on this product would help me make a more informed decision. I have been using this product for some time now. It has been well made and it is very sticky. I am very satisfied with it. There is one thing I dislike, since I didn't know at the time that this is also available in 4 and 5 star Had I known, I would have bought the 4 inch wide instead of the 6 inch wide. This is on me, not the product, and since I put it on it hasn't rained yet, so I can't tell if it has fixed the leak or not. Even so, I have a strong feeling it's true. To let everyone know about that, I will provide an update in about a month or so, and probably one in about a year or two, if I remember.
The purpose of getting this is to repair a 15-inch movie screen I have a toneau cover on my truck that is about a year old. As long as it remained flexible, it did a very good job of As a result of the black color matching the cover so well, it almost blends in. There are a few remnants of adhesive on the tape edges that prevent it from getting a full five stars, considering it would have gotten a five star review except that the edges of the tape were not perfectly straight.
I'll be the one to help you. The last time I used it was for an EPDM installation on a flat roof. The tape looks fine. I chose a cheaper version of tape when installing EPDM on my porch roof two weeks ago, and it has already started curling. The situation is not ideal since I will need to reseal some of it. There was no difference in quality between the cheaper and more expensive stuff.
Use of 4" tape is much more difficult than 2" Moreover, the black color contrasted beautifully with the black roof trim of our RV. Strips of 24" should be cut and applied The seams should be overlapped by 1/2 inch. The product looks great, and it will last for a long time!.
As a result, I used it to seal the small crack between the wheel well liners and the wheel wells. As a result, nothing gets in there anymore. It is incredible how strong the grip is.
Substrates should be cleaned using cleaners based on acetone. In addition to using their primer, I recommend you use it as well since it is relatively inexpensive compared to having to perform rework after the tape failed to The tape worked well if EPDM was cleaned and primed. One star because the adhesive oozes out of the side of a roll of tape, which makes it a mess.
