Questions & Answers

The description says it weighs 3 lbs per cubic foot. Will it really weigh that much? There is no way that could be right. Could a board foot be substituted for the word per? In pounds per cubic foot or 36 pounds?

A cubic foot of the material has a density of 48 pounds. Three pounds are required to weigh a 12" x 12" piece of 3/4" plywood.

Would it be possible to get any other color?

3/4" thick colors are available in all colors. A large selection of colors is available in 8mm and 5mm. Please call Chris at 916 if you have a problem ordering what you need.

Do you have a 4x4 sheet available?

Shipping 4' x 4' and even 4' x 8' can be done with LTL trucking, but shipping more than that requires more time. MDF is a hard to find material

As far as I know, this is the only place in the area that sells As well as the price, I was disappointed with the poor quality of the packaging with chipped corners on both pieces. All in all, the material is of excellent quality, and I would definitely buy it This could improve the packaging if they read this.

MDF in a color of your choice

A high level of quality. My wife had been making custom-sized frames inserts from standard MDF and then painting them black before putting the work in frames purchased at the store. To simplify my work, I decided to try a colored MDF instead. MDF that I bought this time came very well-packaged and intact, and I think is much higher quality than the MDF I was buying from Because the color goes through to the other side, it greatly facilitates my work (router the rectangle of MDF into the panel). By clear coating the final product, I no longer have to sand the interior, prime it, paint it and sand, paint, paint and rub it The process of saving many steps has been simplified. The polished surface has a low luster and small color particles which give it a nice finish. You will need to seal the edges and surfaces as with any other MDF to prevent discoloration and/or stains.
