Because I already had plaster on the walls, I used it as paint. Despite this, I was still able to provide adequate coverage.
Please accept my apologies. I was in New York for a medical appointment when the order arrived, so it was returned to me by BM Cargo. I'm not sure if I'll be able to send it again because I'm already here. br>Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
I wouldn't say it's close to brick red, but it's a very subjective color. It depends on the amount of water you use to dilute it. I mixed 3 tablespoons of it into a gallon of water and mixed it into grey cement, which turned out to be a pale pinkish color. I'd like it to be darker, but for the number of stepping stones I'm making, I'd have to use far too many bottles. I can't figure out how to paste a picture here, or I'd put one up for you to see.
The instructions state that the color should be mixed with water before being added to the concrete mix to make the slurry. As a result, this product is mixed into wet concrete to create colored concrete. It should not be used as a paint for concrete that has already been cured. And it's very effective. We used terra cotta and it turned out beautifully.

I bought three different Quikrete colors and mixed them with regular pre-made concrete. dollar-mixed cement poured into Keep cake pans on hand to experiment with different color combinations. In the end, I mixed two colors based on my wife's preferences. Instead of coloring cement, I used a Quikrete colorant blend to color Ardex engineered (cementacious) topping, which is much more expensive. The base color of the regular pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre Ardex and a mix of cement As a result, the color tests with colored Ardex differed from those with regular cement-based colorants. However, it came close. The color of one type of Ardex topping was perfect, even better than the results of the cement's color test; the color of another topping was satisfactory. That's all there is to it in terms of color. Because Quikcrete is such a bright color, wear old clothes and cover your surroundings with newspaper, cardboard, or drop cloths. Note 2: To suspend all of the colorant in the plastic bottle, it must be shaken vigorously for a long time. Then you'll need a long, thin ice-tea-sipping straw. Scrape the colorant from the bottom of the bottle with a spoon. If you use a different mixing method for each bottle, make sure you do it the same way each time so you don't end up with different color batches!.
We used one of these high-quality products. a half-bottle of color for every 80-litres of water We used a bag of concrete and mixed it in a large concrete mixer, and the color quality was excellent. After a few attempts, we discovered that adding the color to the water in the mixer before adding dry concrete resulted in the most evenly blended color. This essentially made the color lighter by diluting it with water. br>br>However, because this stuff (duh) dyes everything it comes into contact with, don't puncture the cap seal with a nice knife unless you want it to turn "terra cotta. ".
Would have been interesting to see what this could have accomplished if we had realized that even for the 30 feet of cement we used, we needed more than one. As per the instructions. For this small amount of cement, we'd have needed eight bottles. If we had read the fine print, we would have discovered this. We would have never ordered it if it hadn't been for the fact that it was on sale! A valuable lesson has been learned.
My husband and I purchased the concrete mold as well as the colorant and constructed a walkway from our garage to our deck. We mixed the colorant into the wet concrete in various amounts to achieve different color variations. It turned out beautifully, and I received numerous compliments on it.
It added color to the cement and was simple to apply. Someone else was in charge of this. They did say, however, that it was a success. It added color to the cement and was simple to apply.
For the, I'm creating steeping stones. It was an excellent solution. For the, I'm creating steeping stones. This gives it a nice color that is different from the concrete color. I purchased a variety of colors to use in various areas.
