Questions & Answers
Before you add water and aggregate, mix with your cement. Depending on how much is used, it will turn the concrete white.
That's correct.
You can achieve a variety of effects by mixing cement by itself and then gradually adding this to it; there are many creative applications; best to look online on Google images.
Hey Jan- Peter, I believe the white coloring has less to do with the concrete's sealing. Please consult other sources, but regardless of whether you use this powder to color your concrete, you should not cook on it unless it is properly sealed. Make sure you get a sealer that is approved for use with food. Please check other references and online sources, but if the concrete is properly sealed, you should be fine to use this product to whiten it.

Wow, a little goes a long way with this! Our white concrete driveway needed some patching, so I did it. I was blown away by how well it transformed the patch's color to a brilliant white. I expected it to be grey with white streaking or spots, but it's a solid white; I only used a tablespoon for my patching, which I believe was too much. This bag was large enough to cover an entire driveway.
I used it in White Portland Cement to make it even whiter after adding the sand, but it took a lot of this product to do that, so I'll try one of the other colors and see how I like it.
Excellent product.
For one 80-pound bag of concrete, you'll need 4 pounds. The price is ridiculous, but what irritates me the most is that it isn't properly explained on the product page. And if you don't have an electric mixer, you'll have to do a lot of mixing. Save money by purchasing a bag of pre-mixed white concrete.
I haven't tried it yet, but I've had good luck with their other colors.
