Hello! What a fantastic query! Yes, the Duamwall Waterproof Wall Tiles can be installed in a shower. Apply a line of silicone sealant to the tongue and groove connection between the panels when installing in a wet room (such as a shower). This will ensure that the joint is completely waterproof. Place a line of silicone sealant between the panel and the shower or bath's edge, as well as on the inside corners. Thank you once more! DIY DECOR

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our products. Yes. The DumaWall panels can be used to cover an existing shower bench as long as all of the connecting joints are sealed with a waterproof sealant. Any horizontal tile should be installed at a very slight angle (less than 10 degrees) so that the water does not sit on the panel and instead slides off. We are ecstatic with the final product and couldn't be more pleased. It was the perfect size for a small bathroom. I followed the instructions to the letter and had no headaches or issues. I used clear silicone caulking that is 100 percent silicone and has a nice clean appearance. I would recommend watching one of the many installation-related YouTube videos.
Before cutting, I recommend making a template out of cardboard. When measuring, don't forget to take into account the interlocking groove. I used electrical box extenders to keep the outlets flush with the wall rather than inset, and a backsplash strip from Lowe's to finish the edges. It was simple, cost-effective, and had a significant impact; I will purchase this product again for future projects.
We had a 35-year-old bathroom with difficult-to-remove wallpaper. Until we discovered this, we were planning on drywalling the entire bathroom. It looks amazing because it went right over the wallpaper! br>Extremely quick and simple! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>We recently completed another bathroom remodel, this time using Dumawall smoked steel for the tub/shower surround!br>It turned out beautifully!.
These wall tiles are very nice, but because there were so many damaged corners and fins, I had to do a lot of planning on my project to make the best use of each tile. I knew I'd have some scrap and ordered accordingly, so I'm not planning on returning anything, but this might be a better purchase locally so that damage can be replaced in real time without significant delays. Two of the five boxes I ordered had damage to every single tile, and the remaining three boxes had three additional tiles that were damaged. Damage to two or more sides was found on five tiles in total. If you order tiles online, make sure to inspect all of them before beginning your project - I would not have been able to complete my project if I hadn't inspected them prior to installation. I am pleased with the product, but not with the condition in which it was delivered.
Pros: So I was very excited about this product because I had previously used tile for our shower surround, which was a very time-consuming and labor-intensive process. These are so much easier to work with! I liked how simple it was to set up.
Cons: This product is not long-lasting. The corners of about a third of the tiles I received were chipped, which I assumed was due to shipping. Also, while installing in the shower, I had a standard level leaning against the wall. It toppled over, leaving a large scuff in the adjacent wall's tiles that cannot be repaired. I was taken aback by the fact that it had been marked, as I had expected them to be as durable as vinyl flooring. This isn't the case at all.
The product is excellent, and it is simple to set up. After you've leveled the base tiles, the rest is as easy as cutting. dry. The grooves on the back of the tile were precisely engineered. Air traps under the tiles are avoided by ridges. In comparison to what I had before, my bathroom is now absolutely stunning.
If your working space isn't square, plumb, or level, you've got your work cut out for you, just like any other project. I can't emphasize how important it is to wear safety glasses enough; I ended up in the E when cutting this tile. Because I didn't wear safety glasses while cutting a piece of this tile, it's nearly impossible to ship this stuff without damaging the interlocking edges, which are extremely thin; however, they worked out well for me.
Because the samples lacked an interlock feature, I sent them back. The retailer has yet to respond.
