They were installed on top of a tiled surface. Before installing, I did a lot of research. Before installing the tiles, clean the floor thoroughly and set them flat on the floor for 24 hours (removed from the box). When cutting squares, use paper backing to'measure' where to cut them; I cut tiles with strong kitchen scissors. I also used liquid nails (glue) on each square to ensure they didn't slide or lift (as suggested), and then caulked all of the areas around the tub and toilet. You've got YouTube on your side! I'm very pleased with the outcome!.
We are extremely dissatisfied, and we are hoping that the company will contact us to arrange for a replacement. The tiles adhered well and were easy to install, and the color is bold and bright, exactly what we wanted. However, the pattern would not line up no matter how we turned them, indicating that something went wrong in the factory. As you can see in image one, if the top of the petal lined up, the circle was off (in some cases, the circle wasn't even a full circle) and in others, it was simply misaligned. Only by having the tile edges not line up could a pattern be completed. It's quite noticeable, and if the company refuses to replace it, we'll rip it out and replace it with something from another vendor. It's a shame, because we've heard good things about the company and adore this pattern's boldness. We purchased two packages and discovered that three tiles were missing from both, which was a disappointment.
It appeals to me. When the bathroom is finished, I'll take pictures and post them.
This series is perfect for my small hall project, and it has a nice Mediterranean feel to it. It's stylish and simple to clean, which was exactly what we needed in our cute little rental house. They don't all fit together well. You have to turn and turn and just do your best, which is probably why they are on sale, as opposed to the other styles, which are much more expensive. To be honest, you don't notice the inconsistencies once everything is written down. It might drive you insane if you're OCD. Overall, I'm pleased with it, though I just went to order another set of ten and discovered that the price had increased by four dollars. Sigh. It's a navy blue with a cornflower blue, by the way.
There are only nine tiles in total, rather than ten. Instead of the advertised ten tiles, I only got nine. Yes. I double-checked everything. This is the second Floor POP tile box I've gotten, and this one only has nine tiles.
They're quick and simple to put together, and they're also very easy to clean. Between tiles, the pattern isn't always perfectly aligned; We discovered that roughly one out of every ten tiles would simply not fit without being noticeably off-kilter. kilter. With the help of some spray adhesive, they stuck well to our peninsula and gave our kitchen a unique look without breaking the bank.
Not all of them are stamped or cut in the same way. I dry fitted each row and discovered that some of the tiles were not cut evenly no matter how I positioned them. You'll notice a sphere along the edges; you'd think that if the pieces were cut equally, the sphere would be cut straight down the middle, but many were 3/4 or 1/4 inch thick. br>It still looks good, and only a keen eye (aside from the installer) would notice.
These stick to the ground fairly well, but make sure you follow all of the instructions and that the service is clean before using it. You'll have to spend them several times to try to match up the design, and sometimes they won't. In general, they're adequate for a quick project.
