In my garage door opener, I had a problem with the Genie Excellerator model #ISD1000. In order for the unit to work, it had to be unplugged and then plugged back in again. I then had to unplug it again after it only worked for a few hours. Eventually, the program ceased to function completely. Two flashing, green LEDs meant that the control board had a fault, so I got a trouble code. A few days after I ordered this board, it arrived on time. The installation took less than 20 minutes and was very simple. Note that you will have to reprogram the remote controls for the garage door. It solved my problem and my garage door works fine now.

I recently experienced a problem with my Genie Excelerator model #ISD1000 garage door opener. They were very helpful. In order for the unit to work, it had to be unplugged and then plugged back in again. Thereafter, it only worked for a few hours before I had to unplug it. During a trouble check, the control board had two flashing green led's that meant that the control board was defective. After I sent Genie an email to find out where to purchase the part, they responded that they could not locate the correct part number. Upon investigating, I found out that my opener has a lifetime warranty on the motor, parts and service, so I contacted them again. They verified my warranty information and sent me a brand new motor drive board as well as a control board. The parts would have cost $150 in total. I will buy Genie garage door openers whenever I need another one. That's truly excellent customer service!.
