Questions & Answers

Would you please advise me as to which logic board to use for my LiftMaster model number 1160 M?

My knowledge of the subject is limited. If you're uncertain about the compatibility or the sameness of those numbers, you may check the Sears models. Replaced the broken board with one from the new unit and it seemed to work just fine. It wasn't possible to connect the new board and power from the old unit to the new unit because the new and old units didn't match exactly.

This part works with the chamberlain / liftmaster part number 41a5483- 2266 Could you please tell me the details of the 1B ?

Taking note of the Circuit Model number is also a good idea after opening your Garage Door Opener system. After that, you can search on Amazon or the Internet for it. It is always possible to contact Liftmaster and ask them for the model. Once you purchase one of these, you can unplug its power and switch it. Make sure you buy a high quality power bar that protects against power surges. As a result, it will be isolated from any potential power spikes that may occur during Hope you have a great journey!

As well as that, he told me about It would be appropriate to replace B with C. In any case, I bought one and installed it without any issues at all. Here are some of my thoughts During a lightning strike, B was wiped out.

My door opener has been fixed
5/5

A chamberlain door opener and a genie door opener are identical. There has been one who has started shutting off as soon as the door was half I also noticed that the controller on the wall had shut Waiting a few hours or unplugging the opener seemed to fix the power issue for a while, but then returned as soon as the opener was replugged. Using instructions I found on the Internet, I disassembled the opener, cleaned all electrical connections, and reassembled it I regret not being able to help with that. This problem was resolved by replacing the logic board, which was less costly than replacing the opener itself. Plug your door openers into a surge protector, as well. It is possible that there are some laptops that were only plugged into a power strip and the logic board was damaged as a result.

In a nutshell I couldn't figure out how to operate the garage door! The door opener was operating at a reduced capacity
5/5

As soon as I found it on the internet, I began searching for a way to repair it at the lowest possible cost. Due to reading those reviews here, I decided to purchase this part (even though my opener needed a little - " part of the 2B I attempted to swap only the large circuit card at first (but not the one providing the light bulb with power) As soon as I pressed the open switch, I was thrilled. Opening my door gave me a warm feeling. I am six inches tall. I hate it. The old cards had ceased to function, but the new ones worked great! In this case, I had to remove both cards from the plastic panel because my model is different from that of the - Model C is what we are talking about. It was noticed that two of the pins on the U3 IC chip were corroded on the circuit board. My attention was drawn to the other card containing (possibly) some heat-sinking A related piece of There are two reasons why I am happy that my garage door opener was fixed am pretty sure I did the repair myself, and 2) I would have paid much more than what I did (about $62) for a technician to do the job. It is a pleasure to offer this through 365garagedoorparts.

It is well worth the cost
4/5

The model number for my Craftsman garage door opener is A few days before I replaced this part, the door would periodically stop before closing completely and the door sensors would be triggered (10 light blinks and clicks). As well, I had to hold the hard wire switch in place until it closed (a problem with the sensor triggering). In any case, the lights on the sensors stayed solid (didn't appear to be tripped). Because common things are common, I assumed the sensors may be bad (despite the solid lights) and so I replaced those first, but it did not work. Despite efforts to fix the problem, the problem persisted. Based on what I could find on the internet, it seems that these logic boards go out frequently. About $100 was the cost of the part direct from Sears. Considering I had already spent $35 on new sensors that I was unable to return, and garage door openers are about $150, I didn't feel pleased to be spending close to the replacement price. Although it seemed unnecessary to replace the entire unit, it was not something I particularly felt inclined to do unless absolutely As of the time of purchase, the price was just right ($65 or so). According to what I read, the 41A5483 is I am not sure if that is accurate or not. So, this was my latest version. After receiving the unit, it seemed quite similar to mine, but it did not exactly fit me. In the event it did not fit, the entire process would have required removal of four screws and disconnection of two Possibly, I could have made it work but decided to spend the extra 15 minutes to take the logic board out of the new plastic casing and place it on the old one (wear plastic gloves and don't work on carpet if you must do this static will damage the Six screws and two more wires to take out have to be disconnected before the board can be taken out. The switch worked perfectly and, so far, the garage door is working. I now give the product four stars instead of five because the extra step made the product so special. I do have a small chance of being responsible, if there is a 41A5483- in the database This model can be substituted in place of the 2B, but it is much more difficult to locate. The rest of the process has been good so far.

The garage door electronics unit is easy to replace
5/5

It is easy to change the The price was great and I am expecting this new logic board to last for the next 10 plus years. Unplug the unit, take out a couple screws, then unplug the connectors. You don't have to solder anything. The only thing I had to do was adjust the load screws a little because they came set to their lowest setting and there was no mention of this I received the order very quickly and it was a great product. All in all, this is an excellent seller and product.
