It was a perfect fit. Kawasaki Prairie 650 4x4 (2002 model).
This is my second winch for my 2002 Kawasaki 650, and I only wish I had purchased the mount at the same time as the first. I tried to use the generic mount, and all the extra work to make it fit and bolt up cost me about 10 hours of work, three cut fingers, and a sore back. This CUSTOM MOUNT went up in minutes, and the winch slid right in and bolted up as well. It takes about 8 minutes to complete all of these tasks. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, GET THE CUSTOM MOUNT AND FORGET THE $34. It'll be well worth your time and money.
This KFI mount is a nice, solid piece of steel that was made in the United States. It has a nice powder coat finish and bolted up to my prairie and winch nicely. It's also less expensive than some other brands, such as Superwinch's.
This winch mount does everything it's supposed to do. Very nice powder coat finish; I'm confident it'll withstand the abuse my 4 wheeler and winch system will dish out.
The mount was easy to put together and fit perfectly. The metal is of sufficient thickness to hold my winch, the "Superwinch LT2000," in place. br>br>A few weeks ago, I used my winch "Superwinch LT2000" to pull my four wheeler out of a steep 16' to 20' deep ravine, and it worked perfectly. br>br>I highly recommend this product.
On my prarie 650, this worked like a charm.
It was a perfect fit. There were no problems, and the price was extremely reasonable.
It was a success.
