It certainly ought to. It fits my 2002 450 perfectly, and it's a great winch plate. I've had it for two years, and it's been great. I'm running a 3500 pound winch, and I've had no problems.
On the front of the atv, in the frame. Approximately half a foot above the level of the skid plate
It will, I am confident. I used it to mount a Harbor Freight winch, and all you'd have to do is drill a couple of holes if it fits your four wheeler. The footprint isn't typical, but there aren't many of them. Drilling it for your winch should be simple with only two bolts at 2500 down.
A winch with a capacity of 4500 pounds will not fit on an ATV.

When I first saw this, I was ecstatic because I thought it would solve all of my winch mounting issues. It was not the case. The hardware that has been provided is of poor quality. The U- The bolts are too short, making installation difficult, and they don't appear to be very strong. The bigger issue is that the fairlead mounting holes are all the same width, which means they won't fit my fairlead. Making channels for varying width bolt patterns instead of individual holes is such a simple way to solve this problem. In addition, I discovered that the plate did not fit my frame well. It was a strange angle. For the sake of comparison, I have a 2002 Honda Foreman 450.
So far, I've only got two complaints. The hardware they send you, the U-Haul, comes in at number one. The bolts they provide to attach it to the frame appear to be adequate, but I broke two of them without even trying. If you buy this, I recommend looking for stronger hardware or having it welded on. br>br>The placement of the holes where you actually bolt the winch to is my only other criticism of this plate. Because the little cross memeber is in the way, the hole closer to the front of the bike is right on top, and you can't actually bolt the winch down. br>So, as a piece of advice, bolt your winch to the plate first, then after you locktite it, take a grinder to the left over threads on the front bolt, then leave a little bit to mushroom the bolt with a hammer for extra insurance. br>All right, let's get this party started!.
I had purchased another one from a different company that looked similar to this one. It didn't seem to go with the rest of the room. This one was the perfect fit for my Honda Foreman S from the year 2000. The U Bolts were also not too weak in my opinion. I simply snugged each side a little at a time until they were completely tightened. The money spent was well spent.
My winch will love it. My 2003 Honda 450 Foreman is in excellent condition and came with complete instructions.
Winch mount is fantastic! People have expressed their dissatisfaction with the provided hardware. Here's how it works: TAKE YOUR TIME! Ensure that the nuts on both sides of the u-shape are evenly distributed. bolts. Tighten each nut to the same or nearly the same degree of tightness. The installation will be a breeze as a result of this!.
The hardware wasn't ideal, but it did the job perfectly.
On my 2002 Honda Foreman, it's a tight fit, but it looks great.
One of . It appears to be stout because the holes line up. While assembling it, one of the u bolt mounts broke. They appear to be of poor quality. The plate was also slightly twisted and crooked. It will work, but the mounting system appears to be weak.
